Abstract: A grip and an arm orthogonal to each other are rotatably connected to be folded together. The grip accommodates dry cells. A plurality of projections for massaging are formed on the lower surface of the free end of the arm. An interior vibration device is provided in the free end of the arm. In use, the grip and the arm are extended orthogonally at the connection portion. When the projections are pressed against sore muscles, a temporary holding stopper retracts allowing a contact spring to close to operate the vibrator. Vibration is transmitted to the muscles through the projections.

Abstract: An auxiliary automotive headlight intended to secure the visual range in fog, rain, and snow. The filament of the lamp bulb is placed horizontally at the focus of a reflector in the shape of a paraboloid of revolution. At the front of the reflector there is provided a diffuser lens to diffuse the light in the horizontal direction. The diffuser lens has refracting parts which are thicker upwardly so that the light is diffused partially in the vertical direction as well as in the horizontal direction. These refracting parts are arranged according to the light distribution pattern or reflection at the upper part, lower part, diagonally left lower part, and diagonally right lower part around the filament. The refracting part formed according to the lower light distribution pattern has a higher refractive index in the vertical direction than the other parts and a lower refractive index in the horizontal direction than the others.

Abstract: An automotive headlight having a hood to shade harmful beams of light as far as possible, in which a lamp bulb is provided at the focus of the reflector and a diffuser lens is provided in front of the reflector. The hood is provided in such a manner that the light which is emitted from the filament and passes by the base of the glass tube constituting the lamp bulb is shaded. In the first example, the harmful light which has passed by the base of the glass tube is shaded by the extension of the hood leg before it reaches the reflector. In the second example, the light is shaded by the front of the hood after reflection by the reflector.
