Patent number: 8468414Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a wireless mobile system implementing Beam Steering Phased Array Antenna is disclosed having an array of [N×N] antennas mounting on the wireless mobile Terminal transmits unidirectional signals directly to the Base Station as opposed to transmitting multi-directional signals. The wireless mobile system implementing beam-steering phased array antenna, wherein the phases of the signals fed to the array antenna elements are varied by the phase shifters in small programmable step values calculated by the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Phase Processor which causes the antennas radiation beam to be steered at angle ?. Thus, improvements in beam steering for transmitting unidirectional signals directly to the Base Station will greatly reduce the energy required by the wireless terminal for transmitting signals to the Base Station. And, the effective result would achieve our green-energy technology requirements.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2010Date of Patent: June 18, 2013Assignee: Icomm Technologies Inc.Inventor: Quang Nguyen

Publication number: 20120246539Abstract: A wireless system with Diversity processing is provided having Turbo Codes Decoders for computing orthogonal multipath signals from multiple separate antennas. The invention decodes multipath signals that have arrived at the terminal via different routes after being reflected from buildings, trees or hills. The Turbo Codes Decoder with Diversity processing increases the signal to noise ratio (SNR) more than 6 dB which enables the Wireless system to deliver data rates from up to 600 Mbit/s. Several pipelined decoders are used for iterative decoding of received data. A Sliding Window of Block N data is used for the pipeline operations.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2012Publication date: September 27, 2012Applicant: ICOMM TECHNOLOGIES INC.Inventor: QUANG NGUYEN

Patent number: 6813742Abstract: A Bandband Processor for Wireless Communications is presented. The invention encompasses several improved Turbo codes method to provide a more practical and simpler method for implementation a Turbo Codes Decoder in ASIC or DSP coding. (1) A plurality of pipelined pipelined Log-MAP decoders are used for iterative decoding of received data. (2) In a pipeline mode, Decoder A decodes data from the De-interleaver RAM memory while the Decoder B decodes data from the De-interleaver RAM memory at the same time. (3) Log-MAP decoders are simpler to implement in ASIC with only Adder circuits, and are low-power consumption. (4) Pipelined Log-MAP decoders method provide high speed data throughput, one output per clock cycle.Type: GrantFiled: January 2, 2001Date of Patent: November 2, 2004Assignee: ICOMM Technologies, Inc.Inventor: Quang Nguyen
