  • Patent number: 7309405
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of forming an ITO film by optimized sequential sputter deposition of seed and bulk layers having different sputter process conditions, which is applicable to various display devices, and more particularly, to an organic light-emitting device needing an ultra-planarized surface roughness. In forming a transparent conducting electrode of a display device on a transparent substrate with an ITO film including a seed layer and a bulk layer, a method of forming the ITO film includes a first sputter deposition step of forming the ITO film on the substrate with sputtering gas supplied to an ion source at an ambience of oxygen flowing in the vicinity of the substrate and a second sputter deposition step of forming the ITO film with the sputtering gas supplied to the ion source only, wherein the first and second sputter deposition steps have different process conditions, respectively and wherein the seed and bulk layers are deposited by the first or second sputter deposition step.

  • Patent number: 7089533
Abstract: Mapping operations between a markup language document and an object model are executed in response to a request from a client application. The mapping operations include a read, write, update, or delete operation. To map the markup language document to the object model, mapping meta-data is used, which contains information as to how the markup language element maps to an attribute and/or a relationship of the object model.

  • Patent number: 5788413
Abstract: A water and oil impermeable geosynthetic clay liner is formed by supporting a layer of bentonite on an impermeable plastic layer. Integrally formed protrusions extend from one surface of the plastic layer to support a permeable plastic cover layer. The cover layer confines the bentonite clay layer and is heat sealed to the protrusions.

  • Patent number: 5021315
Abstract: The present invention provides for a method for the preparation of red colored magnetic particles for multicomponent toner compositions which are highly conductive and therefore suitable for use as developers in high speed electrophotographic copy machines embodying magnetic brush development. Suitable magnetic core metal particles are provided which are subsequently coated with finely divided particles of copper oxide (CuO). The copper oxide coating is then reduced in-situ on the surface of the core particle to provide an electrically conductive core particle uniformly coated with adherent metallic copper, which particle is of a red color. The present invention also provides a method for controlling and adjusting the electrical conductivity and color of toner materials as a function of the amount of metallic copper deposited on the surface of the magnetic core materials.

  • Patent number: 4557709
Abstract: A belt tensioning system for maintaining consistent and constant tension in a serpentine drive system which includes a series of pulleys and an endless belt interconnecting the pulleys. The tensioning system utilizes a low rate power spring which acts on the idler pulley, and through the idler pulley on the belt, and is suitable to maintain tension over a broad range of belt length variation and pulley locations and provide damping adequate to prevent undue pulley oscillation over a broad range of system vibration conditions. In one form of the invention, the spring itself is effectively fixed at one end to the engine block and at the other end to a tensioner housing so as to operate on the idler pulley and maintain the tension and provide the damping. The hysteresis of the spring, responding to pulley movement, thus assists in the damping.
