  • Publication number: 20090293331
Abstract: A display frame system includes a foot having an arm attachment point and two or more rod attachment points located at different distances from the arm attachment point. The foot may include a second arm attachment point opposite the first attachment point to enable a two-sided display having multiple configurations with one or two upright rods. The arm attachment points may include socket bodies having multiple sockets offset from a centerline of the foot to prevent the rods from interfering with each other at a crossover point. An insert for attaching a graphic sheet to a display arm has a cross section with a first portion extending to an enlarged end to engage a slot in the display arm, and a second portion extending away from the first portion to engage a first side of the graphic sheet. A third portion may engage a second side of the graphic sheet, with both portions having adhesive to bond with the sheet.

  • Patent number: 6430880
Abstract: A modular display panel and edge latching system therefor which employs concealed movable latching mechanism that can be actuated between adjacent panels set up, for example, on a floor to lock the panels into vertical alignment and against any tendency of floor unevenness to cause adjacent panels to become misaligned vertically. The components in the latching mechanism which create vertical position locking are actuated by the insertion of actuators typically carried as downward projections on other panels which rest on top of directly floor supported, underlying panels.

  • Patent number: 6126731
Abstract: The present invention provides a polymerizable printing ink. The ink includes a polar suspending medium in which a plurality of polymer microspheres are suspended. At least one surfactant is dissolved in the suspending medium, and a monomer is positioned in the ink such that polymerization of the monomer after the application of the ink to a substrate will hold the microspheres in fixed relations to one another. The microspheres have a chemically associated coloring agent to provide the ink with color. The ink may include a polymerization initiator, such as a photoinitiator, to cause the film to polymerize upon the application of a form of energy, such as ultraviolet light. The invention also provides methods for making and using the ink, and for adding a coloring agent to a plurality of polymer microspheres.

  • Patent number: 4506894
Abstract: An aerial toy is disclosed which can be launched to sail outwardly away from the point of launching and subsequently reverse its flight and return to the point of launching, and which can further be thrown to traverse a distance between two points, such as in a game of throw and catch. The aerial toy has four equiangularly spaced blades which are joined at a common central body portion. Each blade terminates in a vane which is angled relative to the blade, with the tips of each vane attached to an outer circumferential ring.
