    Abstract: The invention relates to a rail system (1) having two rail sections (12, 13) arranged parallel to each other. Each rail section (12, 13) has a rail (2, 3) which has expanded lateral edges (8, 9; 10, 11). According to the invention, a person can travel on said rail system (1) with a travel board (90) produced for said purpose. The travel board (90) has at least one wheel suspension device for each of the rail sections (12, 13).
