A sanitary mixing unit which is of simple and economical construction and in which a functional matching of the inlet connections for hot and cold water can be matched to the locations of the hot and cold water supplies is provided by an inner housing (15), which can be coaxially rotated relative to the outer housing (15) having the thermostat device arranged in it, the rotatable valve disc (14) being fixed to the inner housing (15) and the fixed valve disc being fixed to the outer housing (12).

A a sanitary mixing unit which is of simple and economical construction and with a low installation depth may be provided by the excess travel spring (40) and the return spring (41) acting on the thermostatic element (16) in the same direction, such that, in the case of excess travel, the spring forces of the excess travel spring (40) and the return spring (41) are additive.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sanitary proximity valving (1) having an associated control device (8) with a sensor device (9) and a valve device (10) coupled with the control device (8), whereby the control device (8), after detection of a signal by the sensor device (9), activates the valve device (10) to release water. The aim of the invention is to provide a sanitary proximity valving (1) which can be used also in the private sphere without major inconvenience, and is thus characterized in that the control device (8), after detection of a signal from one side, activates the valve device (10) to release cold water, whilst the control device (8), after detection of a signal from the other side, activates the valve device (10) to release warmer water.

Abstract: The invention relates to a flow controlling arrangement having at least one valve (3, 12) with a valve box (14) and with an adjustable valve gate (15) which is located in the valve box (14), the valve box (14) having a supply (16) and at least one discharge (17, 18), the at least one valve (3, 12) varying the water flow amount supplied from the discharge (17, 18) to a bathing vessel (1), especially a bathtub or a whirlpool, or to a fitting (11). In order to make provide a flow controlling arrangement which has an expanded scope of application for the user, there is an actuator (29) which is connected to the valve gate (15) for resetting the valve gate (15) and a control (9) connected to the actuator (29) which triggers the actuator (29) depending on a tune chosen by the user or according to a preset actuating pulse pattern for setting the valve gate (15). Thus, according to the setting of the valve gate (15), a regular or irregular change of the water flow amount through the discharge (17, 18) arises.

Abstract: The invention relates to a wall connection for connecting a fitting (2) to a water network, with a connecting piece (3) having on the wall side a connection part (4) with an inlet duct (6), and on the fitting side a connection part (5) with an outlet duct (7). The inlet duct (6) and the outlet duct (7) are preferably excentrically staggered with regard to each other. In order to make a wall connection available for the connection of the fitting to the water network, in which the connection between the wall connection and the fitting takes up as little place as possible and is at the same time simple to produce, the invention provides that a flange (9) with tapped holes (12, 13) is provided for connecting the wall connection (1) to the fitting (2) by means of fastening screws (10, 11).

Abstract: The invention is a sanitary mixer tap with a thermostatic device (1), especially for wall installation, with a thermostat cartridge (3) containing an overtravel unit (9). This unit (9) contains a sleeve (14), at least one pressure spring (15) and at least one pressure component (16) against which the pressure spring (15) acts. At each of its ends the sleeve (14) has a stop (19, 20). One stop (19) at least indirectly takes the thrust of the pressure component (16), the other stop (20) at least indirectly takes the thrust of the pressure spring (15). In order to achieve a simpler and cheaper construction design for the overtravel unit (9) without operational drawbacks, the sleeve (14) can be folded back on the overtravel unit (9) when it is not mounted and both stops (19, 20) will be presented before the pressure spring (15) and the pressure component (16) are inserted.

The pull rod and the plunger rod are clamped together at their intersecting point by a clamping screw and the plunger rod is additionally clamped with the shaped body in a manner which assures their position.

Abstract: A brass alloy having a composition (wt %) as follows: Cu: 57-65%; Bi: 0.3-1.5%; Al: 0.4-0.8%; B: 5-15 ppm; impurities 0-1%, and Zn as remainder. A brass alloy whose Cu content is set to 57-65 wt % and whose further alloying constituents do not exceed 3 wt % can be cast into a chill mold without any problems and, additionally, solidifies from the melt relatively finely grained and thus virtually free of shrinkholes. Further, grain refining with boron is possible in spite of a Cu content that is increased compared to the known alloys, if the elements Mn, Si and Sb are added by alloying in amounts according to the invention and if, simultaneously, the Fe content can be limited to a maximum of 0.25 wt %. Furthermore, the alloy is provided with enhanced hot shortness if the Sn content is as low as possible but, at least, does not exceed 0.25 wt %. The occurrence of hard inclusions is strongly repressed.

Abstract: A drainage fixture for a sanitary device, such as a sink, lavatory, or bathtub having a drainage socket with a drain hole includes a drainage funnel and a stationary disk inserted into the drain hole of the sanitary device. A plunger, including a plunger head and a guide element, for closing the drain hole is positioned under the stationary disk so as to be movable between a closed and an open position. The drainage funnel has an upper rim portion forming a sealing collar for the plunger head in the closed position. The upper rim portion is recessed in the drain hole so as to provide space for a longitudinal movement of the plunger head between the closed and the open positions.
