There is provided, in location with or adjacent to the driver protection apparatus, visual display means which are selectively operated to provide an indication of the condition of the vehicle and/or driver of the vehicle and/or the environment in which the vehicle is located at a particular instant of time.

Abstract: A self-righting stick-type object holder for pets includes a set of fixed structure, that include a top shell and a bottom shell, ballast disposed in the bottom shell, and a collet disposed in the interior of the holder and having a plurality of collet jaws. The top and bottom shells are adjustably coupled to one another and define an interior of the holder. The bottom shell has an exterior having a spherical or semi-spherical profile to facilitate a smooth or relatively-smooth rolling function when the holder is placed upright on a flat surface. The fixed structures include tapered internal surfaces. The jaws have inward-facing contact surfaces that collectively define a central receptacle and outward-facing tapered surfaces that interact with the tapered internal surfaces.

Abstract: Biodegradable melanoidin polymers of varying solubility prepared from non-fossil fuel-based ingredients by a method that includes at least the following steps: a) mixing by application of shear force a quantity of a reducing carbohydrate source and a quantity of an amino group-containing compound to provide a mixture, wherein neither the carbohydrates nor the amino acid group compounds are isolated from fossil fuels; b) heating the mixture for a sufficient amount of time at a sufficient temperature and pressure with sufficient moisture so that a Maillard reaction occurs between the amino groups and the reducing carbohydrate source provides a Maillard reaction product that will effectively yield a bioplastic; c) stopping the reaction before it proceeds significantly beyond the melanoidin-formation steps of the Maillard reaction to limit the formation of acrylamides; and d) vacuum-dehydrating the bioplastic reaction product under reduced pressure.

Abstract: A semi-hollow ball for pet play includes a thick outer shell and a hollow interior. A plurality of passages through the shell include interspersed intake passages and exhaust passages, each extending a distance through the shell. The intake passages have a wide entrance on the exterior side tapering to a substantially narrower exit on the interior side, and the exhaust passages have a wide entrance on the interior side of the shell tapering to a substantially narrower exit on the exterior side. The interior is in fluid communication with the intake passage exits and the exhaust passage entrances. The intake passages facilitate air being drawn into the ball during breath intake and air being forced into the ball during breath expelling, while the exhaust passages facilitate air being expelled from the ball during breath expelling, and air being drawn out of the ball and into the mouth during breath intake.

Abstract: Systems and methods of tracking attributes of objects, including a sensor configured to detect data related to one or more attributes of the object, a tracking device attachable to the object to transmit data detected by the sensor, a software application modifiable by a user, the software application being configured to receive transmitted data from the tracking device, firmware within a chip on the tracking device configured to determine a frequency of data transmissions from the tracking device to the software application based on instructions related to characteristics of transmitted data, and a display configured to show the frequency of data transmissions from the tracking device to the software application.

Abstract: A mechanical energy storage device comprising an expandable and contractable, sealed primary chamber with a sealed variable internal volume containing an expandable/compressible primary fluid. An external medium or a secondary chamber that resists expansion of the primary chamber surrounds the primary chamber. An input mechanism that is actuated by an external force, manipulates formers to transform the primary chamber shell such that the sealed primary chamber increases in volume and the expanding fluid contained within reduces in pressure causing a partial vacuum pressure differential between the fluid and the surrounding medium, or secondary chamber, allowing energy to be stored. When the external force is removed, the pressure differential works to decrease the volume of the sealed primary chamber driving the output mechanism. A locking mechanism allows for the device to store energy, for it to be decoupled and transported, and for the energy to be extracted later.

The inflatable body is surrounded by a membrane material, an inflatable fan is arranged on the inflatable body, the inflatable body expands after being inflated. A first swinging portion is arranged on the inflatable body, the first swinging portion is connected with the inflatable body, a swinging drive is arranged in the first swinging portion, and the swinging drive drives the first swinging portion to swing. A second swinging portion is connected with the inflatable body, the second swinging portion is connected with the first swinging portion via at least one connecting piece. When the first swinging portion swings, the first swinging portion drives the second swinging portion to swing via the connecting piece. The swinging structure is simple and is not easy to be damaged, thereby reducing the production cost and prolonging the service life of a product.

The electronic signature service embeds the media into the signing package with the electronic document and transmits notice of the signing package to the document signer. The media is displayed to the document signer at predetermined times respective to the commencement of an electronic signing session with the electronic signature service to electronically sign the electronic document.
