Abstract: The hand-held appliance includes an elongated handle connected to a head assembly. The head assembly has a motor-driven rotatable output shaft. The appliance is designed for use with a detachable cleansing unit that includes a housing. A fluid reservoir is situated within the housing. The cleansing unit is detachably connected to the output shaft. The unit also includes cleansing means. The fluid reservoir is connected to the cleansing means by a port such that fluid from the reservoir is dispensed from the cleansing means as the unit is rotated. The effective size of the port can be regulated to control the amount of fluid dispensed.
Abstract: The apparatus is designed to dispense an aerosol product from a pressurized cylindrical cannister having a depressible nozzle at one end. The dispenser is pistol-shaped, formed of a generally cylindrical body and a downwardly extending handle with a trigger. The body defines an elongated recess adapted to receive and engage the cannister, with the nozzle situated substantially along the axis of the body. The dispenser body has a nose part moveably mounted in the front end. Means are provided for connecting the trigger to move the nose part relative to the body to depress the canister nozzle such that the product is released through an opening in the nose part.
Abstract: The clipper has a cylindrical housing including a handle containing a battery and motor and a head pivotally mounted on the handle. The head carries a stationary blade and a reciprocating blade. Motion is transmitted from the motor to the reciprocating blade through a flexible rod. One end of the rod is connected to a protrusion offset from the axis of a gear connected to the output shaft on the motor. The other end of the arm carries the reciprocating blade. A control button is provided on the head. The control button can be manipulated to disengage the handle, to permit the head to be pivoted relative to the handle.
Abstract: A laser level is adapted to direct a laser path against a working surface. The level comprises a base, the base comprising at least one pair of opposing edges, the base adapted to be positioned relative to the working surface such that each of the opposing edges is adjacent to the working surface. The level comprises an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer being situated on the base so as to removably affix the base on the working surface without damaging the working surface. The level comprising an activating switch, the switch being located on the level at a location offset from the laser path.
