  • Publication number: 20200110932
Abstract: A method for detecting a document fraud is disclosed. A first image of a first document and a second image of a second document are obtained. A procedure of detection of zones sensitive to document frauds are applied in the regions of the first image and of the second image registered on the first image. Each sensitive zone detected is then divided into a plurality of subparts. A measurement of dissimilarity is calculated between corresponding subparts from the first image and the registered second image. It is then determined whether the first document is identical to the second document from measurements of dissimilarity. If the first document is different from the second document, a level of difference is determined between the first and second documents according to a value representing a proportion of different subparts; and a fraud is detected when the level of difference is below a third predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 10599925
Abstract: A method of detecting attempted fraud against a system recognising the iris of the human eye includes generation of a first image of an iris using first means of image capture in a visible light spectrum, and generation of a second image of said iris using second means of image capture in a near infra-red spectrum. The method also includes determination of at least one characteristic of the first image as a function of respective optical characteristics of pixels of a plurality of pixels of this first image and determination of at least one characteristic of the second image determined as a function of respective luminous intensities of pixels of a plurality of pixels of this second image. As a function of these determined characteristics, a signal representative of suspected detection of attempted fraud is generated.

  • Publication number: 20200050821
Abstract: A method for obtaining an image of at least one fingerprint from a sequence of images is disclosed. The method comprises a segmentation of images in a sequence of acquired images making it possible to determine regions liable to comprise a fingerprint, a tracking of regions determined along with the sequence of images and a calculation of a confidence mark for each region determined. The confidence mark of a region determined is incremented (or respectively decremented) at each acquired image if the region is present in (or respectively absent from) the image, the increment (or respectively the decrement) being dependent on the predefined image acquisition frequency. Information making it possible to obtain a final image containing fingerprints is generated by the method when a predefined number of regions each having reached a confidence mark at least equal to a predetermined threshold is obtained.
