Abstract: The present invention provides a prism-integrated light-diffusing plate, characterized in that a prismatic portion formed of a plurality of prism-shaped protrusions is provided on at least one surface of a light-diffusing sheet which is formed of a transparent resin material containing a light-diffusing agent and which has a thickness of 0.5 to 3 mm and a total light transmittance of 60 to 95%. The prism-integrated light-diffusing plate serves as both a prism sheet and a light-diffusing plate, diffuses light uniformly, and increases the brightness of an illumination cover or a liquid crystal display backlight for a large screen.
Abstract: A material for organic electroluminescence devices comprising a compound having a specific structure and an organic electroluminescence device comprising an organic thin film layer which comprises one layer or a plurality of layers comprising at least a light emitting layer and disposed between a cathode and an anode, wherein at least one layer in the organic thin film layer comprises the material for organic electroluminescence devices, are provided. The material provides the organic electroluminescence device exhibiting a great efficiency of light emission, having no defect pixels, exhibiting excellent heat resistance and having a long life.
Abstract: Provided are a catalyst which inhibits light paraffins form being produced in catalytic cracking of heavy hydrocarbons and which effectively produces olefins and a process in which the above catalyst is used to produce olefins from heavy hydrocarbons at a high yield. The catalyst is a catalytic cracking catalyst for catalytically cracking a hydrocarbon raw material, comprising (A) pentasil type zeolite modified with a rare earth element and zirconium and (B) faujasite type zeolite, and the process is a production process for olefin and a fuel oil, comprising bringing a heavy oil containing 50 mass % or more of a hydrocarbon fraction having a boiling point of 180° C. or higher into contact with the catalyst described above to crack it.

Abstract: In an injection compression molding method, dies are clamped with low pressure and a melted thermoplastic resin composition is filled in a cavity space from a gate while moving the cavity space relative to the gate, and then the dies are clamped with a high pressure substantially simultaneously with completion of the filling to compress and form the thermoplastic resin composition filled in the cavity space. Since the thermoplastic resin composition containing a high content of thermally-conductive filler such as an electrically-conductive filler can be injected and compressed to be molded, the injection compression molding method can be applied in manufacturing molding such as a fuel cell separator and a flat antenna.
Abstract: Provided is a water dispersible polyolefin resin composition which is capable of forming a coating film having a smooth solidified surface when applied onto a substrate and which has excellent storage stability. The water dispersible polyolefin resin composition contains (C) a surfactant, (D) a water-soluble polymeric compound and (E) a water-insoluble organic solvent in amounts of 0.01 to 1.00 part by mass, 0.01 to 1.00 part by mass and 2 to 200 parts by mass, respectively, per 100 parts by mass of a combination of 5 to 70% by mass of (A) a poly(1-butene) resin having (i) a mesopentad fraction [mmmm] of 20 to 80 mole % and (ii) a weight average molecular weight (Mw) measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) of 10,000 to 1,000,000 or 5 to 70% by mass of (A?) polypropylene resin having (i) a mesopentad fraction [mmmm] of 20 to 60 mole % and (ii) an intrinsic viscosity [?] measured at 135° C. in tetralin of 0.1 to 15 dl/g with 95 to 30% by mass of (B) water.

The lubricating oil for a compression type refrigerator of the present invention has high miscibility and high viscosity index, and is excellent in wear resistance and also corrosion prevention property under carbon dioxide atmosphere.
Abstract: The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber including: a base oil containing a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil; (A) a phosphate compound and/or a phosphite compound having a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms; and (B) a secondary amine compound represented by the General Formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 each represent an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, or a cycloalkane-containing group having 5 to 18 carbon atoms, and R1 and R2 may be the same or different from each other, or may be bonded to each other to form a cyclic structure having 3 to 6 carbon atoms with a nitrogen atom serving as a hetero atom. The lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber of the present invention can increase the friction force between seals and steel parts in the shock absorber of an automobile, improve the control stability when the car is driven at high speeds, and simultaneously improve the ride quality.
Abstract: A fluorene-based derivative having a specific structure and an organic electroluminescence device in which an organic thin film layer comprising a single layer or plural layers including at least a light emitting layer is sandwiched between a cathode and an anode, wherein at least one layer of the organic thin film layers described above comprises the above fluorene-based derivative having a specific structure in the form of a single component or a mixed component. The organic electroluminescence device has a high luminous efficiency, and the fluorene-based derivative materializes the same.
Abstract: A method for producing a PC copolymer with improved productivity is provided. The PC copolymer has a specific structure and the method uses a diester diol-containing monomer as a raw material. Abstract: A hydrocarbon reforming catalyst which maintains carrier strength even after a long-term thermal history and which exhibits high catalytic activity is prepared by causing at least one noble metal component selected from among a ruthenium component, a platinum component, a rhodium component, a palladium component, and an iridium component to be supported on a carrier containing manganese oxide, alumina, and at least one compound selected from among lanthanum oxide, cerium oxide, and zirconium oxide, or a carrier containing silicon oxide, manganese oxide, and alumina. By use of the reforming catalyst, hydrogen is produced through steam reforming (1), autothermal reforming (2), partial-oxidation reforming (3), or carbon dioxide reforming (4). A fuel cell system is constituted from a reformer employing the reforming catalyst, and a fuel cell employing, as a fuel, hydrogen produced by the reformer.
Abstract: A method of reduction reclamation of an oil or prevention of oxidation degradation of the oil of the present invention includes: using an electrolytic cell 13 having an anode 11 and a cathode 12 made of a hydrogen storage material, and inside of the cell divided by the cathode 12 into an electrolytic chamber 13A and a reduction chamber 12A; supplying the oil to the reduction chamber 12A while applying an electric voltage between the anode 11 and the cathode 12 to electrolyze an electrolytic solution supplied to the electrolytic chamber 13 (Translator's comment: correctly, 13A); and absorbing hydrogen generated on the cathode 12 in the electrolytic chamber 13A in the cathode 12 to reduce the oil in the reduction chamber 12A, the method for reduction reclamation of the oil or prevention of oxidation degradation of the oil allowing continuous treatment.
