    Abstract: The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition containing a mineral oil (A) containing 30% by mass or more of a bright stock (A1) on the basis of the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, wherein the lubricating oil composition further contains a synthetic oil (B) and a phosphoric acid ester (C), the content of the synthetic oil (B) is less than 70% by mass on the basis of the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, the content of the phosphoric acid ester (C) as expressed in terms of a phosphorus atom is 0.050 to 0.200% by mass on the basis of the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, and a viscosity index is 150 or more, thereby providing a lubricating oil composition having low temperature dependence and favorable lubricating characteristics even in the case of using the mineral oil containing a bright stock.

    Abstract: After a cyclopentadiene compound and a vinyl aromatic compound are thermally polymerized, the obtained copolymer is subjected to a hydrogenation reaction to form a hydrogenated product. After most of the hydrogenation solvent is separated by a solvent evaporation tank from the hydrogenated product, an additive separately prepared by dissolving an antioxidant is added to the hydrogenated product to form a mixture. While the hydrogenation solvent is a naphthenic solvent, the additive is prepared by dissolving the antioxidant in an aromatic additive solvent having the same carbon atoms as those of the hydrogenation solvent. Then, the low-molecular-weight component as well as the remaining hydrogenation solution and the additive solvent are separated by a thin-film evaporator from the mixture. The obtained molten resin is pelletized to produce hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets. The time for uniformly blending the antioxidant can be shortened.

    Abstract: A sputtering target including indium oxide and tin oxide, the content by percentage of the tin atoms therein being from 3 to 20 atomic % of the total of the indium atoms and the tin atoms, and the maximum grain size of indium oxide crystal in the sputtering target being 5 ?m or less. When a transparent conductive film is formed by sputtering, this sputtering target makes it possible to suppress the generation of nodules on the surface of the target and to conduct the sputtering stably.
