Abstract: A foldable box includes a floor, two longitudinal-side and transverse-side exterior walls, and two lock elements having integrated rim areas. The longitudinal-side exterior walls extend a rim area at their free ends, respectively. The lock elements are arranged, at a free end of the transverse-side exterior walls, such that the integrated rim areas of the two lock elements of the transverse-side exterior walls and the two rim areas of the longitudinal-side exterior walls together form the rim of the foldable box in the folded-open state. The two lock elements of the transverse-side exterior walls are mounted to be moveable in relation to the transverse-side exterior walls to form a locking mechanism, wherein the two lock elements may be transferred from a respective locking state to a releasing state by a movement in a direction away from the floor.

At least one of the sidewalls includes an unlocking mechanism which is movable between a rest position and an unlocking position in which the locking of the sidewalls is undone. The unlocking mechanism includes at least one pretensioning element which pretensions the unlocking mechanism into its rest position and includes a first end connected to the unlocking mechanism or the sidewall and a second, free end.

Each of the side walls comprises a first lateral edge adjacent to the first end wall, a second lateral edge adjacent to the second end wall, a lower edge adjacent to the bottom, and an upper edge distant from the bottom. Each side wall comprises a continuous stiffening member extending parallel to the lateral edges and at least partly to the upper edge. The continuous stiffening member comprises a stiffening portion extending at least in one area between the lateral edges from the upper edge in the direction towards the lower edge and back to the upper edge.

Abstract: A transport container system includes a stackable crate having a bottom element and four side wall elements which are of a dimensionally and pressure stable structure. Each of the side wall elements has a foldable attachment element connected to it. When folded up, the attachment elements of the four side wall elements will form an attachment which will increase the volumetric capacity of the crates. The attachment elements will each bear on an upper side of the respective side wall element and be retained in the folded-up position by guides provided on the side wall elements. When folded down, the respective attachment elements can be integrated into the respective side wall element in such a manner that the attachment elements at least will not protrude substantially over the thickness of the side wall elements.

Abstract: A box includes a floor, two end walls and two side walls. In the floor, a plurality of openings are provided, which are dimensioned to each receive a supporting bar. The openings are arranged to evenly lift a carrier introduced into the box with supporting bars introduced into the openings and position the same at a position above the floor.
