Abstract: A septic treatment system includes a dispensing apparatus and a computing device that controls the dispensing apparatus through a communication link to dispense a septic treatment composition according to a dispensing operation sequence that is selected based on processing external data received from an external device. The septic treatment system may be configured to dispense the septic treatment composition into a septic tank through one or more drain lines. The external data may include cartridge data associated with a cartridge from which the dispensing apparatus is configured to receive the septic treatment composition. The selected dispensing operation sequence may be selected based on being associated with a particular cartridge group identifier code that may be determined based on the cartridge data.
