The patient data collection system, located proximate a patient, is configured to collect patient physiological data and is operatively coupled to a communications network. The patient data collection system includes a patient data collection device couple to a patient work station. The patient work station is configured to transmit patient physiological data upon a determination that the communications network is reliable. The provider analysis system is coupled to the communications network and located remote from the patient data collection system.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods for remote health care treatment verification. The methods include determining a medical plan including at least a medical procedure that is self administered. The methods further include establishing a communications link, supporting the transmission of video information from the patient to a medical professional, between the medical professional and a patent remote to the medical professional. Furthermore, the methods include instructing the patient to initiate a self administered medical procedure in accordance with the medical plan and receiving video information from the patient indicative of compliance with the instruction.

Abstract: Disclosed are patient health systems and methods for managing health care plans that collect data concerning patient health and in response thereto automatically updates or selects an alternative care plan. The system also comprises systems and methods for performance of remote health care in which a skilled medical advisor such as a doctor interacts with a patient remotely. The system and method of managing health care plans involves collecting information regarding a patient's environment, physiological measurements, and compliance with a health care plan. The data collected is processed in view of an existing medical care plan in order to facilitate automatic updating of the current care plan or selection of a new plan based on providing the information to a remote server system.
