The base, the support walls, and the roof sections define a cavity of the outer shell. The outer shell further includes handle sections extending from the roof sections. The handle sections are attached to each other when the outer shell is closed. The biodegradable cooler further includes a liner disposed within in the cavity of the outer shell. The liner is made from one or more biodegradable materials.
