Abstract: A portable tote is provided which has flexible, insulating walls to insulate the contents of the tote from the environment and maintain e.g., a reduced temperature of its contents. The tote is configured to receive a beverage box, in particular, an elongated twelve pack box. An end wall access flap provides selective access to the contents of the tote, such as the twelve ounce beverage cans contained in the beverage box. An asymmetric handle strap can be used to support the tote in a stable manner.

Abstract: An improved insulated cooler has accessory holders detachably secured to its outer wall. An exemplary holder is provided for containerized drinks. The holder is made of a rigid plastic upper ring at the top and may have flexible fabric or mesh lower portion at the bottom such that the holders can be nested into receptacles in the top surface of the lid for convenient storage. This arrangement provides the benefit of permitting the user to access conveniently the contents of the ice chest without having to remove drinks that otherwise would be sitting on the lid of the ice chest. There also may be one or more connections on the ice chest that permit a fishing rod holder, an umbrella holder, or other accessory holder to be affixed to the cooler.

Abstract: An auxiliary accessory or dry goods storage compartment is provided in or on a top or side wall of a cooler. The interior of the auxiliary compartment is in communication with the chilled conditions of the main compartment of the cooler. In an exemplary embodiment the dry goods storage compartment can be independently accessed through it's own lid or access door so as not to compromise the reduced temperature of the main compartment.

The container assembly is adapted to facilitate access to and/or removal of the container liner from the insulating cover. Thus, the top panel of the insulating cover is provided as a cover flap structure having a container overlying portion and a flap attachment portion that is detachably secured may be attached to the side wall. Because the top panel overlies substantially the entire exposed top wall of the container liner, detaching the top panel substantially fully opens the cover for removal of liner. In addition or in the alternative, one or more grip structures are provided adjacent the bottom of the insulating cover, for being manually grasped, to provide suitable resistance whereby the liner can be removed from the cover.
