  • Patent number: 11482143
Abstract: A Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) device includes a substrate, an electronic circuit mounted on the substrate, a movable element mounted on the substrate whose movement is controlled by application of an operating voltage by the electronic circuit, a stopper mounted on the substrate that stops the movement of the movable element through mechanical contact of the stopper with the movable element, and an auto-inspection mechanism that applies a test voltage between the movable element and the stopper and determines whether or not a leak current is present. The auto-inspection mechanism is mounted, at least in part, on the substrate. The test voltage is lower than the operating voltage.

  • Patent number: 11282430
Abstract: An image display system includes an array of pixel elements, column drivers, row drivers, a look up table memory, and a controller. Input video data including gradation information of an input image is received. According to rules of a look up table, the input video data is assigned to multiple groups, binary signals for respective groups are generated using the respective input video data assigned to each group, and an order of the binary signals within at least some groups is rearranged to form respective binary control signals without conflicting state changes. The controller transmits the binary control signals to the column drivers and transmits a select signal that selects the row drivers. Alternatively, the controller transmits the binary control signals to the row drivers and transmits a select signal that selects the column drivers. The select and binary control signals are in synchronization with a clock signal.

  • Publication number: 20120324359
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring computer and/or software usage and enhancing functionality of target software applications are provided. In some aspects, the systems and methods may identify user activity with sufficient depth for meaningful analysis, even when the target application restricts access to, for example, its user-interface object model or event stream, without requiring code-level integration with the target application. In other aspects, the systems and methods may enable fast and convenient assignment of semantic meaning to user-interface elements to enable actionable usage reporting, among other things In further aspects, the systems and methods may allow convenient definition of a sequence of user-interface actions as a workflow, which may be analyzed in a variety of manners including, for example, monitoring and analyzing for user utilization and compliance.

  • Publication number: 20030003433
Abstract: A method and system for performing constructive, modality-focused learning, includes the steps of storing a collection of multi-media content segments in a database, the multimedia content having an associated learning modality tag profile. The invention then assigns a learning modality proclivity profile to a learner for reflecting the learning modality proclivity demonstrated by the learner. The learner is presented for selection by the learner the collection of multi-media content segments for responding to said constructive learning challenge. The system presents to the learner a constructive learning challenge, the constructive learning challenge formed so as to demonstrate the accomplishment of predetermined learning objectives and require the learner to construct a result.
