Patent number: 11836135Abstract: Roughly described, a database accelerator is installed in a network having client systems which makes database queries to a particular IP address and port, and database servers which accept queries received at an IP address and port. The accelerator includes a cache, and is arranged to receive, through a network port, a database query made by a client system and directed to the particular IP address and port, return response data from the cache if available there, and if not, then forward the query through a network port to the database servers. Upon receipt of response data from the servers, the accelerator can retain it in its cache in addition to forwarding it back to the client. By installing the accelerator transparently in the network, no changes are required to either the client or server software in order to add query caching functionality to an existing client/server database arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2021Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: Ignite ScalArc Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Varun Singh, Uday V. Publication number: 20230376506Abstract: A system and method for analysis and management of data distribution in a distributed database environment. A method may include analyzing information related to transactions between an application and a plurality of data storage systems to produce analysis results. Analysis results may be used to produce a set of rules for defining logical data chunks. A logical data chunk may include at least a portion a data set stored in the plurality of data storage systems. A data distribution policy may be defined based on the set of rules. Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2023Publication date: November 23, 2023Applicant: Ignite ScalArc Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Doron Levari, Petr Dvorak, Vladimir Vexler

Patent number: 11301446Abstract: System and method for interacting with a plurality of data sources are provided. A request may be parsed and an identification parameter identifying a data set may be determined. A field included in the request may be designated as a distribution key. At least one data source may be selected based on a value associated with the distribution key. At least a portion of the request may be sent to a selected data source. Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2015Date of Patent: April 12, 2022Assignee: Ignite ScalArc Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Doron Levari, Liran Zelkha

Patent number: 10496645Abstract: A system and method for processing a database query may include determining a set of tables referenced in a query; representing the set of tables by vertices of a graph; and, if the graph is incomplete, then determining the query is associated with a shard conflict. A system and method may determine a query is not associated with a shard conflict if, and only if, the graph is complete.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2015Date of Patent: December 3, 2019Assignee: Ignite ScalArc Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Noam Asner, Doron Levari
