Patents Assigned to Iizuka Electric Industry Company Limited
  • Patent number: 4867708
Abstract: An electric jack for receiving a plug to form the electric connection therebetween includes a main body made of electrically insulated resin and a plurality of movable contact strips. The main body has formed therein; a central hole through which the plug is insertable in an axial direction; a plurality of contact strip-clamping recesses extending in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction, the recesses being arranged in parallel with each other in the axial direction; a plurality of contact strip-fitting holes each being communicated with respective recesses; and a window portion through which the recesses are communicated with the central hole. The movable contact strip has a fitting portion to be inserted into the fitting hole of the main body and a contact portion to be clamped into the recess of main body. When the movable contact strip is inserted into the main body, the contact portion of movable contact strip is partially projected into the central hole through the window portion.

  • Patent number: 4266845
Abstract: A resilient contact member to be installed in a jack for use in conjunction with a pin-plug comprising a fixed leg portion to be fixed to an inner wall of a housing of the jack, a movable leg portion having a portion which is to be engaged with a pin portion of the pin-plug inserted into the jack to make an electrical connection between the jack and pin-plug, a substantially U-shaped portion for connecting the fixed and movable leg portions to each other at their one ends, said fixed and movable leg portions extending in parallel with each other, and a projection integrally formed with the fixed leg portion or the movable leg portion and extending toward the movable leg portion or the fixed leg portion. The projection has such a length that the movable leg portion could not be displaced beyond an elastic limit of the U-shaped portion. The fixed and movable leg portions, U-shaped portion and projection are all formed integrally with each other by punching a thin metal plate.

  • Patent number: 4196328
Abstract: An electric switch comprising a plurality of electrically conductive resilient strips secured to an electrically insulating base member and a supporting member for supporting the strips in such a manner that these strips extend substantially in parallel with each other at a given distance and store resilient force in a direction opposite to that of an operational force. An electrical contact is made by displacing one of the resilient strips toward the other strip against the stored resilient force. In a preferred embodiment prior to securing the strips to the base member the strips have been bent in the direction opposite to the acting direction of the operational force.

  • Patent number: 4129352
Abstract: A pin plug comprises an inner contact member in the form of a pin made of metal, an outer contact member in the form of a cylindrical metal body and an insulating member for fixing the inner and outer contact members in position in an electrically insulating manner. Said insulating member comprises an inner insulating member consisting of two semi-cylindrical halves which form in a joined condition a hollow cylindrical space in which said inner contact pin is fit. The insulating member further comprises an outer insulating member or cover made of relatively resilient material. The outer contact member consists of two semi-cylindrical halves which are fixed around the outer surface of the inner insulating member. The assembly of the inner contact pin, the inner insulating member surrounding the pin and the outer contact member surrounding the inner insulating member is resiliently inserted into the space of the outer insulating cover.
