  • Patent number: 11201550
Abstract: A control device includes a detector which detects a voltage of each of the DC terminals in a state where a DC voltage is applied to one of the DC terminals and said one of the DC terminals is maintained at a fixed voltage; a minimum voltage terminal selection circuit which selects a low-voltage DC terminal with a lowest voltage among the DC terminals to which the DC voltage has not been applied, based on a detection result of the detector; and an arithmetic circuit which generates, in a connected bridge circuit to which the DC voltage has been applied, an AC voltage of a size that is equal to a difference between the voltage of said one of the DC terminals to which the DC voltage has been applied and the voltage of the low-voltage DC terminal selected by the minimum voltage terminal selection circuit.

  • Patent number: 10727784
Abstract: In an aggregation system comprising a control apparatus which is provided for each consumer and a server apparatus, the server apparatus calculates, for each of the consumers and as an allocation amount of the consumer, an upper limit value for the power which the consumer inputs from the system or a lower limit value for the power which the consumer is to output to the system, according to a requested power provision amount, and sends the respective control instructions designating the calculated allocation amount of each consumer to the control apparatus of the consumer, and the control apparatuses each control the charging and discharging of the corresponding power apparatus so that the power input from the system is equal to or smaller than the allocation amount designated in the control instruction or so that power equal to or larger than the allocation amount is output to the system.

  • Patent number: 8174242
Abstract: An apparatus includes a switching circuit operable with an arrangement configured to effectuate a charging or discharging of an energy-storage device to a circuit including electrically-parallel condenser. The switching circuit includes a main switch electrically connectable to the condenser, and a control circuit electrically connected in parallel with the main switch, and electrically connectable to the condenser. The main switch and control circuit are each configured to independently, switchably pass current from the energy-storage device to the condenser and a power load/source. In this regard, the main switch and control circuit are controllable to pass current from the energy-storage device to the power load, and in a manner whereby current from the energy-storage device to the condenser is diverted from passing through the main switch for a period during which a voltage disparity between the condenser and energy-storage device decreases to within a predetermined range.
