    Abstract: A wing mirror unit (1), in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a base plate (2), on which by means of a pivot construction a supporting frame (5) is provided. The wing mirror (1) further comprises an electric actuator, with which the supporting frame (5) is pivotal with respect to the base plate (2) between a folded orientation, in which the supporting frame (5) substantially abuts along the body of the motor vehicle (3), and an unfolded orientation, in which the supporting frame (5) is substantially oriented transversely to the body (3). Furthermore, the electric actuator is provided with an engaging part coupled with the supporting frame (5), which engaging part is adjustable with respect to the base part (2) substantially transversely to the body (3) between a first orientation located near the base plate (2) and a second orientation located farther outward with respect to the body (3).

    Abstract: A driving unit (1), comprising: a motor (10), a driven shaft (2) driven by the motor, and a transmission device (20) coupled between the motor and the output shaft and having one input shaft (21) and two rotational output members (22) and (23), wherein the ratio of transmission from the input shaft (21) to the first rotational output member (22) differs from the ratio of transmission from the input shaft (21) to the second rotational output member (23). The first rotational output member (22) is coupled to the motor housing (11) via a slip coupling (30). A helical spring (60) arranged so as to be coaxial to the motor presses the first rotational output member (23) against the motor housing (11), wherein that helical spring (60) engages the motor housing (11) via a pressure ring (50). This pressure ring (50) has a helical channel (52) for receiving the helical spring (60). The pressure ring (50) is rotatable to enable setting the maximum value of the moment that can be supplied to the output shaft (2).

    Abstract: A movement actuator includes first and second modules that are constructed to fit together in different manners. The first module includes first and second actuator parts mounted for rotation relative to one another, a gear wheel rotatable arranged in the second actuator part, and a transmission system including a coupler coupled to the gear wheel and a worm wheel. The second module includes a motor housing and an electromotor mounted in the housing and having a drive shaft having mounted thereon a worm. When the two modules are coupled together, in any of the different manners, the worm engages the worm wheel, thereby coupling the electromotor through the transmission system and gear wheel to the actuator parts. As a result, the electromotor is operable to rotate the actuator parts relative to each other.

    Abstract: An apparatus for varying the damping characteristics of a shock absorber of the kind comprising a piston rod and an adjusting shaft mounted coaxially within the piston rod for rotation relative to the piston rod. The housing accommodates, in succession: an electric motor (1) adapted to be driven and positioned in two directions; a speed reducer (2) coupled to an output shaft (26) thereof; and a universal joint (3) disposed between an output member (33) of the speed reducer (2) and the free end (15) of the shock absorber adjusting shaft (16).

    Abstract: An adjusting device with an overload slip system and a slip-independent position indicator includes a driving system and an adjusting member movable by the driving system between two end stops. The driving system includes an electric motor housed in a housing and a planetary transmission connected to the motor shaft, the power output shaft of the transmission being in engagement with the adjusting member. A stationary, internally toothed ring of the planetary transmission is confined between facing peripheral edges of the divided housing and is capable of slipping relatively to the edges of the housing under overload conditions. A support plate with a circular electrical resistor is fixedly connected to the housing on the side of the power output shaft. A runner contact connected to the power output shaft is movable over the resistor.
