    Abstract: A trust-based network has a plurality of nodes, each of which has a node device. Each node device includes a processor, a memory coupled to the processor, and a transceiver coupled to the processor. The transceiver is capable of transmitting signals to, and receiving signals from a second node device in the network. Trust for the transmission of information between nodes is determined using the proximity of one node to another, as well as other factors.
