The soft material portion has good flexible and spring back features when exposed to refrigerator and freezer temperatures. These features make the gasket able to further seal, preferably by compression, the space located between the cabinet and inner door in a more internal area of the refrigerator cabinet. Furthermore, the soft sealing portion is independent and free from constraints with respect to the soft bellows-type portion.

The second exchanger (7) allows the cooling fluid to evaporate, by heat absorption, thus cooling the space (2) and returning through the tubing (17) to the compressor (4). The cooling fluid circulates from the compressor (4) towards the first exchanger (5), from the latter towards the second exchanger (7), then returning to the compressor (4) for a subsequent cycle.

The lower section includes a projection that interfaces with an entire perimeter of the inner door member and that is directed toward the upper section to engage with a corresponding grooved seat formed on the inner door member. The bellows portion forms a seal with the cabinet.
