Patents Assigned to Imaging Advantage
  • Patent number: 12216706
Abstract: Improved systems and devices for medical imaging distribution are provided. A medical imaging order may be received from a medical facility that includes medical imaging. A configuration may be selected and applied based on a body site and an urgency field associated with the order that defines queueing rules for the medical imaging order. Utilization factors for queues associated with radiologists may also be determined. The configuration and the utilization factors may be used to determine a subset of queues associated with a subset of radiologists. The subset of queues may be prioritized based on certain requirements, such as how many medical imaging reports a particular radiologist is required to review, how many medical imaging reports are required to be allocated to a particular radiologist, and the like. The highest prioritized queue may be selected and the medical imaging order may be transmitted to the radiologist associated with that queue.

  • Patent number: 11170040
Abstract: Improved systems and devices for pre-caching of related medical imaging are provided. A medical imaging order may be received from a medical facility that includes medical imaging of a site generated by a medical imaging device. The medical imaging order may include metadata, such as user data, site data, and modality data. A search may be executed for supplemental medical imaging of the user using the user data. The supplemental medical imaging may be filtered using the site data to return only that medical imaging related to the site. The filtered supplemental medical imaging may be prioritized using the modality data. The prioritized supplemental medical imaging may be appended to the request, and the request may be transmitted to a radiologist for generation of a medical imaging report.

  • Patent number: 10990193
Abstract: According to some embodiments of the invention, improved systems and methods for medical imaging report input are provided. A zero footprint software extension is provided that interfaces with supported hardware devices, such as dictation devices. The extension may be agnostic to different medical facilities and different medical imaging systems. Radiologists may quickly populate medical imaging reports with existing structured data included in the EMRs or other forms, such as medical orders. Radiologists may also use voice recognition technology in conjunction with the dictation devices to fill in diagnoses and other relevant information in the medical imaging reports. The functionality of the dictation devices may be configured by the radiologists to meet their preferences and needs, either generally or with respect to a specific medical imaging report.

  • Publication number: 20180018444
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that notify a user of the status of his or her imaging, such as through the use of an application or website on a communication device. Some embodiments detect completion of an imaging appointment (e.g., for physiological imaging) and retrieve imaging data and a report analyzing the imaging data as they become available. This provides users with easy, seamless access to the status and results of their imaging as soon as possible.

  • Publication number: 20170212987
Abstract: According to some embodiments of the invention, improved systems and devices for use with medical imaging are provided. According to some embodiments of the invention, a medical imaging record (e.g., an EMR) may be received that includes medical imaging (e.g., an X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, etc.) generated using a medical imaging device. The medical imaging record may be filtered to remove unnecessary information, such as information not germane to analyzing the medical imaging. The filtered medical imaging record may be transmitted to a radiologist, who may add a radiology report interpreting the medical imaging. The complete data record, including the medical imaging record and the radiology report, may be stored in conjunction with a record identification number.
