Abstract: A device, a system, a camera device, and corresponding methods are provided which allow to capture immersive images with improved quality by providing an assistance to a user. The assistance may be an automatic control and/or feedback-based. A device capable to provide a feedback-based assistance may include one or more processors configured to: receive an image; detect one or more objects within the image; determine, based on the detected one or more objects, whether a quality of the immersive image can be improved using at least one measure; and in the case that it is determined that the quality of the immersive image can be improved using at least one measure, provide control instructions to control one or more output devices to output information informing a user that the at least one measure can improve the quality when capturing an immersive image.

Abstract: A device and a method for selective presentation of subtitles are provided, wherein the device includes one or more processors configured to: receive a video and corresponding subtitle data, the video including audio data, which represent a first language of the video, and other-language content associated with a second language; determine a language skill requirement of the other-language content, the language skill requirement representing a language skill required to translate the other-language content into the first language; determine, whether a language skill of a user satisfies the determined language skill requirement; and in the case that the language skill of the user satisfies the determined language skill requirement, determine to not show the subtitle when presenting the other-language content of the video to the user.

Abstract: A device and a method for determining a format of an immersive image and/or for rendering an immersive image are disclosed, wherein the device for determining a format of an immersive image includes one or more processors configured to: determine an aspect ratio of an immersive image and one or more additional characteristics of the immersive image; and determine a format of the immersive image using the determined aspect ratio and the determined one or more additional characteristics of the immersive image.
