    Abstract: Modified Western blot membranes and methods of using same are provided which allow confirmation of Lyme disease and screening for at least one additional tick-borne disease. The membranes and methods of the present invention may thus be used to screen for the presence of tick-borne diseases which may be transferred along with Lyme disease. A Western blot assay may also be employed to confirm the presence of such additional tick-borne disease.
