Abstract: The process relates to the production of a green from slurry by solidification after injection into a mold having a temperature of less than 0.degree. C. The mold and moveable parts of a jack ensure closure thereof and are housed within a gas-tight vessel. A distributor for dry gas with a dew point lower than the temperature of the mold emits a gas current through apertures. The green is conducted outside the vessel through an aperture which is opened in a continuous or discontinuous manner. The process is applicable to the production of sintered metallic or ceramic parts with high density and high performance mechanical characteristics.
