Abstract: A multi-purpose folding tool which features a unique supplemental tool locking and release mechanism, inwardly tapered handles to provide external plier jaw storage, thereby leaving greater room for supplemental tool storage inside the handles, a box-beam handle construction for greater strength, downwardly opening handles to facilitate ease of use, and laminated plier jaws which are riveted together for even greater strength and overall integrity.

Abstract: A display package for an article includes a front and a rear panel having respective peripheral portions secured to one another in an operative condition of the package. At least the front panel is provided with a recess constituting, together with a juxtaposed portion of the rear panel, a compartment for accommodating the article therein with substantially no movement therein in the operative condition of the package. A holding element is also substantially immovably received in the compartment and extends across a corresponding portion of the article remotely from the rear panel to confine the article between itself and the rear panel. The holding element is substantially rigid, and each of the front panel and the holding element is of a transparent material.

Abstract: A support clip or sheath is detachably mounted on a knife. The clip or sheath has a locking portion insertable into a cavity of the knife, and a release button is operable for releasing the clip or sheath therefrom. A plurality of mounting apertures on the clip or sheath is attachable to various objects, such as a keyring or a strap. The knife and/or the objects are separately handled upon detachment of the clip or sheath. The knife is suspendable by the clip or sheath from a carrier such as a belt or strap.

Abstract: A package for transporting and displaying a knife having an exposed blade and a handle includes handle-confining and blade-confining walls for respectively bounding handle and blade compartments having complementary contours to that of the handle and exposed blade, respectively, for resisting relative displacement between the knife and the package during transport and display. Ribs are formed integrally with the package for steadying the blade and the knife, and for stiffening the overall package.
