Abstract: An engine piston wrist pin installation tool, kit and method provide the ability to install a piston in an engine block while the corresponding piston rod is assembled to the crankshaft. The wrist pin aperture is first aligned with an access hole provided on the engine block, which may be performed by using a tapered alignment tool provided in the tool kit. A mounting flange configured for bolting to preformed holes in the engine block is first attached over the access hole, the alignment performed, and a tool including a cylindrical sheath that holds a wrist pin clip compressed and a rod that holds the wrist pin and clip is slid through a locking collar of the flange and secured in place. The rod is then pressed through the sheath to extend the wrist pin and wrist pin clip into the piston until the wrist pin clip snaps into place.

Abstract: The behavior-based driving record management program is designed to assist drivers that have received driving penalties or “demerit points” to improve their behavior and “rehabilitate” to recover their driving privileges. Telematics are used to monitor the driving behavior over time and provide feedback to the driver. The system can also be used to implement graduated licensing programs to ensure that only qualified young drivers are graduating from one level to another demonstrating actual driver behavior and driving experience while reducing fraud.

Abstract: A bearing for retro-fit or repair of an engine provides high reliability through a sleeved bearing design having externally-supplied lubrication. The bearing assembly may be supplied as a kit including a lubrication delivery tube and an oil filter adapter having a port for supplying the external lubrication to a mounting flange of the bearing. In order to install the bearing a captive sleeve is inserted in a hollow end of the shaft being supported. A cap having a threaded stud is inserted with the sleeve into the hollow end of the shaft and secured by the required snap ring. Then a nut is used to secure the cap and the sleeve to a stud affixed to the mounting flange that secures the bearing assembly to the engine.
