Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for transmitting and receiving control information of an Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) system, wherein the control information consists of information bits and parity bits. A base station transmits the control information including the location information for where the control information of the other terminal is transmitted. A terminal receives the control information of the other terminal based on the location information for where the control information of the other terminal is received. Therefore, the precoding matrix of the other terminal can be obtained from the received control information. The invention enables the removal of interference through the obtained precoding matrix when receiving a data symbol in an environment where a channel is not in a good state.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining an abnormal ROM update in a portable terminal. The apparatus includes a ROM update unit for increasing a value of an update start counter when a ROM update process is performed, and increasing a value of an update finish counter when the ROM update process is finished. The ROM update unit loads the values of the update start counter and the update finish counter, and compares the values of the two counters to determine that the ROM update process has been normally performed before the portable terminal abnormally operates.
Abstract: A passive alternating current sensor for sensing a current-carrying conductor is disclosed. The passive alternating current sensor includes a substrate, a magnetic body, at least one coil and a first measuring circuit. The substrate has a flexible structure layer. The magnetic body is disposed correspondingly to the current-carrying conductor and located at one side of the substrate. The coil is disposed on the substrate and correspondingly winds around the magnetic body. The first measuring circuit is connected with the coil. When the magnetic body is subjected to the magnetic field generated by the current-carrying conductor and enabled a relative motion with the coil, the coil produces an induced electromotive force. The first measuring circuit measures the induced electromotive force and accordingly outputs a first induction signal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a call connection control method used by defining a state function matrix when a base station controls call connection of a terminal, and a method for generating the state function matrix. In a call connection process, a call state varies and an access point control subsystem receives messages from a terminal and an access point traffic subsystem. The access point control subsystem calls a state function corresponding to the received message and a current call state among a plurality of state functions that are respectively mapped to a plurality of elements of the state function matrix when receiving the message, and operates the state function. The state function matrix may include a plurality of call states as one index among row and column indexes, and a plurality of messages as the other index.

Abstract: Particular embodiments provide home network use recommendations to a user. The home network use recommendations may involve recommendations on items, which may include devices, applications, and/or services. When users connect an item (e.g., a device) to a home network, information associated with the item may be received. Metadata for the information is generated that describes the information. The metadata may be stored in storage in a user profile for the user. The user profile may then be analyzed to determine home network use recommendations. For example, recommendations may be how to use or configure the home network.

Abstract: A vehicle travel amount estimation device includes a camera, a taken image storing unit, a compensated image storing unit, a travel amount calculation unit, a vehicle speed and gyro sensor, and a travel amount determination unit. The taken image storing unit and the compensated image storing unit store images taken by the camera. The travel amount calculation unit calculates the amount of travel based on two stored images. The sensors detect the amount of travel of the vehicle. The travel amount determination unit is configured to compare a first amount of travel calculated by the travel amount calculation unit with a second amount of travel detected by the vehicle speed sensor or the like in order to determine the first amount of travel to be the amount of travel of the vehicle when the difference between the first amount and the second amount is smaller than a predetermined value.
