The measurement circuit includes at least one switch member that is remotely controllable by a switch remote control unit, wherein the at least one switch member in at least one closed state is configured to provide an additional electrical path between the at least one guard electrode and a reference potential.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for controlling power transmission in a power transmitter against overvoltage at a power receiver. The power transmitter receives a subscription request to subscribe to a wireless power network, from the power receiver. It is determined whether power transmission is available for the power receiver. The power receiver is informed that the power transmission is beginning, when the power transmission is available. The transmission power is increased and transmitted. It is determined whether a stop request to stop increasing voltage is received at the power transmitter from the power receiver. The increase of the transmission power is stopped when the stop request is received at the power transmitter. Charging of the power receiver is started by transmitting a start charging command from the power transmitter to the power receiver.
Abstract: A wiping system comprises a support table, a conveying unit configured to convey a wiping belt onto the support table, a carrier holding device configured to hold a carrier on which a plurality of fiber optic ferrules are mounted, a carrier pressing device configured to press the carrier on the support table with a plurality of front end faces of the fiber optic ferrules in direct contact with the wiping belt, and a first base on which the support table is mounted. The carrier holding device and the carrier pressing device are slidably mounted on the first base. The carrier pressed on the support table is movable back and forth relative to the support table in a first horizontal direction while the front end faces of the fiber optic ferrules remain in direct contact with the wiping belt.

Abstract: A capacitive sensor configured for connection between a heating element and a heating current supply comprises a common mode choke (CMC) for AC-decoupling the heating element from the heating current supply. The CMC comprises first and second inductively coupled windings, the first winding for connection between a first terminal of the heating current supply and a first terminal of the heating element and the second winding for connection between a second terminal of the heating element and a second terminal of the heating current supply. The capacitive sensor further comprises a control and evaluation circuit for injecting an AC signal into the heating element via a measurement node, measuring a voltage on and/or a current across the measurement node, and to derive an impedance between the heating element and a counter electrode from the measurement. The CMC comprises a third winding inductively coupled with the first and second windings, the third winding being operatively coupled with the measurement node.
