Abstract: An illumination device includes a housing a portion of which has a ball-like outer surface, a positioning base and an annular ring. The housing is arranged to accommodate a Light Emitting Diode (LED) and is at least partially transparent to wavelengths the LED is capable of emitting. The positioning base has a front side provided with an opening and is arranged to rotatably support the ball-like outer surface portion of the housing. The front side of the positioning base has a front surface with a recess. The recess is arranged to accommodate the annular ring in such a way that an orientation of the housing can be tightened.

Abstract: An arrangement for lighting an object having a first, non-mobile device (1) and a second, movable device (2). The first device (1) has at least one lighting unit (3) and at least one 5 rechargeable accumulator (4). The at least one accumulator (4) is connected to the at least one lighting unit (3) in order to be able to provide this with power. The second device (2) has a charger (5) for charging the rechargeable accumulator (4) of the first device.
