  • Patent number: 11284709
Abstract: An electric lifting platform retractable upon hitting an obstruction includes a lifting column, a platform, a controller, and a manipulator. The controller comprises a main control unit and a motor driving circuit. An output end of the main control unit is connected to the motor driving circuit. The electric lifting platform further includes a multi-axis sensor module for acquiring obstruction-hitting data of the platform. As the multi-axis sensor module is connected to an input end of the main control unit, the main control unit transmits a control signal to the motor driving circuit after processing the obstruction-hitting data, and the motor driving circuit controls the lifting column to execute a corresponding retracting movement.

  • Patent number: 11278113
Abstract: A modularized fast assembly lift desk includes a preassembled module, a matched module and a clamping member. The preassembled module (100) includes a combined body formed by connection between a desktop platform and a transverse beam. The matched module includes a lift column including a motor housing. The clamping member includes a fixed connecting end and a movable squeezing end. When a user assembles the lift desk, the fixed connecting end of the clamping member is engaged with the preassembled module. The movable squeezing end of the clamping member is pressed to generate a squeezing force between the movable squeezing end and the motor housing. The motor housing and the preassembled module are fixedly connected to implement locking between the preassembled module and the matched module.

  • Publication number: 20220075528
Abstract: A storage system and an access control method thereof are provided. The storage system receives a first I/O request from at least one hypervisor. The first I/O request is used for accessing a first disk file of disk files. The storage system then operates a first I/O operation of a first virtual disk of virtual disks according to the first I/O request since the disk files correspond to the virtual disks. The storage system reads a QoS data of the first disk file and determines a first delay period according to the QoS data. The storage system transmits a first I/O response to the at least one hypervisor after the first delay period.

  • Publication number: 20220021278
Abstract: The present disclosure provides position detector for an electric machine. The detector uses one or more proximity sensors, such as eddy current sensors, to detect features on the rotor of an electric machine. The detectable feature may be a spiral groove, which has a unique position at any given point around the circumference of the rotor. As the rotor is typically steel, the proximity sensors produce different output values depending on the degree to which they are aligned with the groove. As such, given that the groove has a unique position at any given location, the output of the proximity sensors is also unique for any given position. This enables the position of the rotor with respect to the sensors to be determined.

  • Publication number: 20210402591
Abstract: Robot arms and methods of controlling robot arms. In an example, a hand control is located on a robot arm and provides translation and/or rotation control of actuators that may for example rotate in unison. In another example, a hand control on a robot arm is also provided at an end effector, which may control actuators in the robot arm for example by having the actuators rotate together or oppositely in unison. In a further example, a hand control situated on a robot arm between actuators controls upstream and downstream actuators with different control strategies. In a master slave example, actuators in a master robot control actuators in a slave robot, and the actuators may be provided at an angle and be arranged to hold position in normal operation when unpowered. Nonbackdrivability is also provided by providing sufficient friction between stator and rotor in actuators of a robot arm. In a Scara robot, a fixed part of a base is secured to a floor, while a moving end is supported by a bearing element.

  • Patent number: 11187293
Abstract: A magnetic brake for a motor uses the magnetic force on the surface of a flux concentrating rotor to pull a flexible brake spring or friction sheet into friction contact with the rotor. An electromagnetic stator pulls the flexible brake spring or friction sheet away from the rotor when it is energized. The brake spring may be a variable thickness around the circumference in a radial flux motor or radially in an axial flux motor and is thicker near where it is fixed to the housing. The brake spring may be split so it can clamp down on the rotor symmetrically. The OD of the brake spring may be closer to the surrounding stator near the fixed section of the brake spring so the air gap to the brake stator is smaller and the gap to the rotor and the ID of the brake spring is larger to allow the brake stator to pull on this area with greater force initially when it is energized to disengage the brake.

  • Patent number: 11125853
Abstract: A method and system for determining a position and orientation of a receiver relative to a transmitter includes transmitted positioning signals having different frequency components that define a common period. One or more of the transmitted positioning signal have identifiable phase characteristics relative to the start of the common period. The positioning signals are received at the receiver. A time point corresponding to the start of the common period is determined from the received positioning signals. The polarities of the received signals can then be determined based on properties of the positioning signals relative to the start of the common period and relative to properties of the transmitted positioning signals. These polarities can be used to track a signed position and uniquely associated orientation of the receiver relative to the transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20210273509
Abstract: A rotor for an electric machine having posts extending partially or completely between end irons. Each end iron is formed of a single piece of magnetic material with the posts extending from it, including the other end iron where the posts extend completely between them. Magnets are arranged between the posts with poles facing the posts to concentrate flux. In order to prevent too much of the flux from being drawn into flux paths through the end irons, the total magnetic flux is made to exceed a saturation flux of at least a portion of the flux path. This may be achieved by using interdigitated posts extending only partially between the end irons to provide gaps in the flux path, by providing flux resistors in the end irons to reduce a saturation flux below the total flux, or by using high aspect ratio magnets or posts so that the magnetic flux exceeds a saturation flux of the posts or end irons.
