Abstract: Described is a combination fastener for attaching an object to a stud extending from or an opening formed in a component. The combination fastener includes a carrier portion to retain the object and a fastener portion. The fastener portion includes a body sidewall that defines a central longitudinal axis and a hollow space configured to receive the stud. A plurality of stud-retention features are resiliently coupled to an interior surface of the body sidewall to retain the stud within the hollow space. Each of the plurality of stud-retention features are angled toward the central longitudinal axis to deflect outward from the central longitudinal axis as the stud passes through the hollow space. A plurality of panel-retention features resiliently coupled to an exterior surface of the body sidewall to retain the combination fastener within the opening.
Abstract: Systems and methods to provide remote support services to a testing device are disclosed. An example testing device includes a computing device configured to obtain a measurement value related to the material or component under test. The computing device includes: a display; an input device; a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing computer readable instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: in response to first input via the input device, transmit a request for a technical support service to a remote computing system; perform, at the computing device, one or more remote service actions associated with the technical support service.

Abstract: A thermoplastic bottle is provided that has a sidewall having an exterior surface that defines a plane curve. The sidewall is joined with a base and a mouth to define an interior volume. Facets are integrally formed in the sidewall that each have a recess interior to the plane curve and a protrusion extending above the recess. The protrusion being either above or below the plane curve. The recess can surround the protrusion or be adjacent thereto. Facets can be arranged in a variety of patterns and vary in shape, size, or both relative to one another. A ratio is defined for a recess depth to an absolute value of a height of a protrusion of 0.2-5:1. The resulting bottle offers a better grip when fluid bottle contents have dripped on the exterior surface relative to a conventional bottle. By allowing the drippage to seep into recesses of the facets.
Abstract: An orbital welding device (1), having a welding current source (10) in a welding current source housing (11) and a base controller (12), and an orbital welding head (20) connected to the welding current source (10) by a cable (2), the orbital welding head (20) having a pipe mount (21) and a welding electrode holder (22) mounted rotatably with respect to the pipe mount (21) for holding a welding electrode (23). A motor (31) is designed to drive the welding electrode holder (22). The orbital welding head (20) has a chamber (50) for shielding gas, and an electrical circuit (60) that is connected: to a position sensor (41) designed to generate a position value (41.1); and/or to a memory device (61) designed to store one or more loading values (61.1) and/or one or more calibrating values (61.2) in the memory device (61).
Abstract: The present application relates to a gas control system and method for a reflow soldering furnace, comprising: an oxygen detecting device, capable of coming into contact with a gas in a furnace chamber, for detecting an oxygen concentration in the furnace chamber; an intake valve device, for controllably establishing fluid communication between a working gas source and the furnace chamber, thereby inputting the working gas into the furnace chamber; and a controller, for controlling the opening extent of at least one intake valve device based on an oxygen concentration signal, thereby regulating a flow rate of the working gas inputted into the furnace chamber.
Abstract: Systems and methods for a welding-type power supply to provide both a welding output voltage and a battery charging output voltage. The power supply includes a first contactor associated with a first circuit to provide the welding output voltage, and a second contactor associated with a second circuit to provide the battery charging output voltage. An auxiliary switch is operatively coupled to the second contactor, to prevent the first circuit from closing when the second contactor is closed to prevent transmission of the welding output voltage to the second circuit.
Abstract: A furniture assembly includes a panel, a connecting member and an auxiliary device. The panel has a first side and a second side. The connecting member is arranged adjacent to one of the first side and the second side of the panel. The connecting member includes a first part and a second part. The first part is configured to be connected to the panel. The auxiliary device is configured to be mounted to the second part of the connecting member. The auxiliary device is configured to increase a height of the furniture assembly above the panel. The present invention also provides a furniture system.

Abstract: The present application relates to a door lock and a control circuit thereof. The door lock includes a switch means, a switch driving means capable of opening the switch means, and a driving slider. The driving slider is capable of driving the switch driving means. The driving slider is capable of being driven by a door hook. The switch driving means (that is, a swing lever) and a lock pin are capable of jointly controlling opening of the switch means. The switch driving means (that is, the swing lever) is driven by a mechanical structure (that is, the driving slider), and the lock pin can be driven by an electronic signal and a circuit structure (for example, a second current loop), thereby improving the sensitivity and reliability in disconnecting the power supply under abnormal working conditions.
Abstract: A welding sled, comprising a support base comprising one or more attachment points for attachment of a wire supply support and attachment of a wire drive assembly; a plurality of rollers coupled to a bottom of the support base; and a brake configured to selectively brake the welding sled.
