Patents Assigned to Inabagomu Co. Ltd.
  • Patent number: 6558577
Abstract: A deformable conductive elastomer excellent in reliability, linearity, and mechanical characteristics, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. Elastomer particles with a particle size of 10 through 300 &mgr;m and conductive particles with a particle size of 10 through 40 &mgr;m are almost uniformly dispersed in a non-conductive elastomer. Ceramic particles with a particle size of 1000 nm or less are also almost uniformly dispersed in the non-conductive elastomer. At least the non-conductive elastomer uncrosslinked, the elastomer particles, and the conductive particles are added to the dispersion medium, and the mixture is vibrated, mixed, and dried to crosslink the uncrosslinked non-conductive elastomer. At least the non-conductive elastomer, the elastomer particles, and the conductive particles are added to the dispersion medium, and the mixture is vibrated, mixed, and dried.

  • Patent number: 5536568
Abstract: An elastomeric composition comprising a non-conductive elastomer having dispersed therein (i) elastomer particles, 10-300 .mu.m in diameter, (ii) conductive particles, 1-40 .mu.m in diameter, and (iii) hollow and elastic microspheres, 10-50 .mu.m in particle diameter, non-conductive when not deformed, becomes conductive when deformed by compression, extension, torsion or bending. The elastomeric composition may also have dispersed therein insulating and elastic fibers less than 100 yarn denier thick and 3-6 mm in length.

  • Patent number: 5311779
Abstract: A pressure sensitive sensor in which a pressure detecting convex portion is formed on the surface of a pressure-sensitive and conductive elastomer sheet, and an electrode is arranged on the reverse side of the pressure detecting convex portion for making it possible to detect a pressure acting in the direction in parallel or in the oblique direction with a slight angle with respect to the surface of a pressure-sensitive and conductive elastomer component. In addition, for obtaining a high detection density, a contact is made up with a face-defined body defining a pressure face, and a contacting convex portion is made to protrude from the face-defined body, where the contact is resiliently supported onto the pressure-sensitive elastomer sheet.
