Abstract: Containers, particularly to containers for storing dry granules and powders, for examples silos. A container can include an air filter for cleaning the air that pneumatically conveys bulk product into the container. A valve can be used to restrict the air flow through the air filter, thereby elevating the pressure within the container to above atmospheric pressure.
Abstract: An elongate container (7) for the transport of bulk powders is provided along its base with a longitudinally sloping membrane support. A gas permeable membrane (11) is mounted on the support and the support is itself unsupported relative to the container between its longitudinal and transverse ends. A method of conveying bulk powder using such a container is also described.
Abstract: A container for the transport or storage of a bulk granular product is of generally cylindrical shape. Within the container is located a substantially conical exit hopper (13, 15, 17) and means (21) to convey the granular product from the exit hopper to the exterior of the container.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transporting oil drill cuttings using a vessel having a lower conical portion where the cone has an angle which provides for mass flow of the drill cuttings when there is an application of compressed air on the surface of the drill cuttings in the vessel.
