Abstract: A waterproof housing (10) enables convenient underwater operation of a touch-screen interface of an electronic device. The housing (10) includes a casing (12) that defines a cavity (30) in which the electronic device can be mounted, the casing (12) including a window (26) through which the touch-screen interface can be viewed. A swivel mechanism (14) is mounted within a hole in the casing, wherein the swivel mechanism (14) is rotatable in three degrees of freedom. A control arm (16) slidingly engages and extends through the swivel mechanism (14), wherein a manipulating part (34) of the control arm (16) projects into the cavity (30) and a handle part (36) of the control arm (16) is disposed outside the casing (12). In use, the handle part (36) of the control arm (16) may be operated to move the manipulating part (34) of the control arm (16) in three dimensions to operate the touch-screen interface of the electronic device.
