  • Publication number: 20130068982
Abstract: A ball valve operative in a cryogenic temperature range, includes a housing having a fluid passage therethrough, a ball rotatably positioned in the fluid passage and including a fluid passage therethough, the fluid passages of the housing and the ball allowing fluid through the ball valve when the ball is in an open position and block the fluid when the ball is rotated into a closed position. The housing includes at least two sealing rings disposed therein, sealingly contacting the ball and positioned for rotatably holding the ball between the two sealing rings which include at least a surface layer of thermoplastic material contacting the ball surface and having an annular, circumferential groove in a contacting surface where the rings sealingly engage the ball and an annular recess in the sealing ring opposite to the circumferential groove for providing a spring lip for biasing the sealing ring against the ball.

  • Patent number: 7445711
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly with a filter housing and at least one filter cartridge. The at least one filter cartridge is tubular, has a tube wall provided with a filter and comprises a central discharge channel with a discharge connection for discharge of filtered medium. The tube wall has a filter through which the medium to be filtered is able to flow transversely to the tube wall. The filter housing has a filter chamber, surrounded by a side wall, in which the at least one filter cartridge is accommodated with the longitudinal direction parallel to the side wall. The invention furthermore is directed to a filter cartridge intended for such an assembly.

  • Publication number: 20080210316
Abstract: Module assembly for a gas system operating at pressures greater than 100 bar. The assembly comprises at least two modules made as solid metal blocks. Bach block provided with a system of drilled channels and appendages. The system of channels comprises a main and at least one branch channel. The appendages comprise at least a shut-off valve and a flow or pressure meter connected to the branch channel. The blocks of two modules are positioned laterally against one another. Each block having openings aligned with a corresponding number of openings in the other block, for joining channels in the one block to channels in the other block. The invention furthermore relates to a gas system provided with the module assembly according to the invention and to the use of such an assembly.

  • Patent number: 6668860
Abstract: A switching device for optionally passing a flow of medium, such as a highly pressurized gas, through a first or second treatment member (2, 3), in which the medium is subjected to a treatment, such as filtration, heating, cooling or the like, comprises a medium inlet, a medium outlet and two distribution valves (1, 5), of which the valve bodies, which are provided with passages, are attached to a common rotation pin (10). For safety's sake, safety valves (12, 13, 14, 15) are arranged in the connections between distribution valves arranged at the inlet and at the oulet and the two treatment members.

  • Patent number: 6415819
Abstract: A switching unit which is suitable for making a first and a second medium—for example oil and cooling water—flow through one of the two plate coolers as desired comprises four switching valves. The valve bodies of the four valves (1-4) are connected to one another by an actuating mechanism (19, 20, 21, 22), in such a manner that when one of the four valves is switched the other three valves are also switched. This definitively prevents incorrect switching operations.
