Patent number: 7645001Abstract: A shelf having two telescoping plates secured by a toothed crank is provided for locker users. The plates have a generally rectangular shape with perimeter edges reinforced by lips and pads to engage the locker walls. Friction between the pads and the walls holds the present invention at a desired elevation. This shelf has a toothed rack upon a first plate and a crank with teeth upon the second plate. The teeth upon the crank engage the rack and turning of the crank secures the second plate relative to the first plate longitudinally at a desired width for fitting against the inner walls of a locker.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2006Date of Patent: January 12, 2010Assignee: Industrial Wire Products, Inc.Inventor: Jerry Harris

Patent number: 5988409Abstract: A storage system having a pair of parallel, spaced side braces and a plurality of interchangeable wire racks, shelves and baskets secured and suspended between the side braces. The side braces are mounted directly to a wall or other flat surface. The side braces are provided in interlocking sections and can be joined together to form a side brace as long as desired. Each side brace has a plurality of evenly spaced keyhole-shaped openings formed in an inner surface. The openings in one side brace are parallel to the openings in the other side brace. Each shelf, rack or basket has side extensions designed to engage the openings. Each side extension terminates in a retention means, for example a knob that engages and is secured in the opening. The rack, shelf or basket can be moved between openings to raise or lower the height of the unit.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 1995Date of Patent: November 23, 1999Assignee: Industrial Wire Products, Inc.Inventors: John Gusdorf, Fred D. Patent number: 5894940Abstract: A storage system having a pair of parallel, spaced side runners and a plurality of interchangeable wire racks secured and suspended between the side runners. The runners are mounted directly to a wall or other flat surface. The runners are provided in interlocking sections and can be joined together to form a runner as long as desired. Each runner has a plurality of evenly spaced openings formed along the length of a center section. The openings in one runner are parallel to the openings in the other runner. Each runner includes a pair of retention ridges on the front surface of the center section extending the length of the that section on each side of the openings. There are plurality of retention tabs on the back surface of flat section with a tab on each side of the opening. Each rack has mounting extensions designed to engage the openings in the runners.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1997Date of Patent: April 20, 1999Assignee: Industrial Wire Products, Inc.Inventors: John Gusdorf, Fred D. Patent number: 5152407Abstract: A stackable and nestable rack construction formed essentially of wire material so as to be capable of use in displaying articles, or for storing personal items, on a select stack of the racks. The racks are capable of being nested in groups, to facilitate their storage, transfer, and display, and then assembled or erected into a stackable configuration, for usage. The racks may accommodate slides, incorporating runners, upon which a wire or other material basket may be accommodated, to add variety to the manner of storage that may be undertaken through usage of this invention. A base member incorporating rollers, may be connectable onto the bottom of the assembly, to add to the maneuverability of the racks, when laddened with stored articles.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 1991Date of Patent: October 6, 1992Assignee: Industrial Wire Products, Inc.Inventors: Mohammad E.
