Abstract: A process for constructing an improved conveyor belt (10, 10?, 10?), with closed path and defined by one or more layers of fabric arranged relative to a layer or lower layer (14) of silicone especially suitable for being used in the textile industry, and in particular for the compaction or pre-shrinkage process, with said process consisting in a step of arranging said one or more layers inside a mould (26), a step of filling the mould (26) with silicone material, a step of curing subsequent to the filling of the mould (26), a step of extraction of the conveyor belt (10, 10?, 10?), an optional step of grinding of the silicone surface of the conveyor belt, an optional step of upturning of the conveyor belt (10, 10?, 10?).
Abstract: A transport and support means for heavy, high-temperature articles (5) which includes:(a) a flexible support base made of at least one weft woven fabric, one or more ply, using rigid, synthetic monofilaments with a diameter of between 0.1 and 1.0 mm and warp woven using parallel, twisted or braided synthetic multifilaments. The aforementioned mono and multifilaments have a heat resistance of at least 150.degree. C. and the aforementioned base has been treated with a silicon rubber of a heat resistant vulcanised resin:(b) a veil or layer (4) of synthetic, staple, heat-resistant fibres needles on at least one surface of the flexible support base. The transport and support means is thermostable and compact having been pressed at a temperature of 150.degree.-260.degree. C. and at a pressure of between 5 and 50 kg/cm.sup.2.
Abstract: A seamless endless belt for battery pasting machines, particularly lead batteries, consisting of an outer endless woven fabric formed by 1 to 3 plies and an inner backing layer formed by multi-strata of non-woven webs, consisting of synthetic staple fibres and of light woven meshes; the outer woven fabric and the inner backing layer being bound together by needling.
