    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of mutual authentication between an agent and a data manager in a u-health environment, in which the agent performs identification recognition using an identification (ID) of the agent, i.e., a System-id, a secret key, encryption, and a one-time use random number generator, instead of using biometric scan data of an existing IEEE 11073 agent, and hence bidirectional authentication, rather than unidirectional authentication, is allowed.
