    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a quantum key distribution (QKD) method based on a tree QKD network. The method includes: judging a position of a parent node of the source node S0 and a position of a parent node of the destination node Sd; if the parent node is a trusted relay node, directly transferring an initial shared key of the source node S0 and the parent node to the destination node Sd according to an exclusive OR (XOR) relay scheme, and ending the process; and if the parent node is an untrusted relay node, emitting, by the source node S0 and the destination node Sd, photons to a measuring-device-independent quantum key distribution (MDI-QKD) receiver of the parent node through a QKD emitter, generating a shared key by an MDI-QKD method, then transmitting the shared key according to the XOR relay scheme, and ending the process.

    Abstract: An IC card reader that can output data in an audio form. The IC card reader includes a small portable case in which an IC card can be inserted. A microcontroller powered by a battery within the case reads the stored data from the IC card and encodes the read data into a series of voice commands. A voice synthesizer circuit produces a synthetic speech signal from the encoded data. Thus, in use of the IC card reader, when a button is depressed to close a switch, the microcontroller is caused to interrogate the card so that the data stored on the card is read into the microcontroller. The microcomputer produces a synthetic speech signal that is amplified by the amplifier and output by the speaker as synthetic speech which can be heard by the user by holding the card reader with the speaker against the user's ear.

    Abstract: A portable smart card reader for reading and displaying information stored on a smart card comprising a thin housing having an upper surface and a lower surface, a flexible cover affixed to and spaced from the lower surface plurality of electrical contacts affixed to the lower surface, a reader circuit contained within the housing and connected to the electrical contacts and a display on the housing connected to the reader circuit. A smart card can be placed against the contacts and the circuit can read information stored on the smart card and display the information. Since the reader has no slot with a rigid lower portion, the reader is thin and more easily carried.

    Abstract: The process permits virtual interaction between a user, and a data support, and generates in an electronic box a sequence of digits arranged according to a pseudorandom logic by the expedient of a pseudorandom generator. The user introduces into the electronic box by the expedient of a data input element a succession of data representative of the user's choices and replies to a test suggesting replies proposed by the data support. The succession of user data is transformed in a succession of digits interpretable in relation to the sequence of digits coming from the generator and the successions thus obtained are interpreted in relation to each other. The process reproduces at the electronic box the result of this comparison in the form of sensory signals.
