  • Patent number: 9599976
Abstract: This technology relates to systems and methods for effective selection of disparate distributed power sources for smart grid in near real time manner to meet the specific power demand. Power from the plurality of disparate power sources is received and then one or more power sources among the plurality of disparate power sources are selected based on one or more predefined requirements. At least one effective power source is determined from the one or more power sources by applying one or more algorithm based on number and range of the one or more power sources. The one or more algorithm comprise Complete Karmarkar Karp (CKK), pbrute, Heuristic based pbrute. A signal for selection of the at least one effective power source is generated and the signal is sent to a circuit switcher to supply the power from the at least one effective power sources to the smart grid.

  • Publication number: 20170076114
Abstract: A method and system masks sensitive fields on a cheque image based one or more access privileges assigned to a user. The method involves receiving a cheque image at a cheque masking engine. A cheque template from one or more cheque templates is selected based on metadata associated with the cheque image. One or more zones of sensitive information associated with the cheque image are identified based on the one or more access privileges assigned to the user and a comparison with the selected cheque template. One or more characters are extracted from the one or more zones of sensitive information. The extracted one or more characters are aliased based on an aliasing rule. Another cheque image is generated by overlaying the one or more zones of sensitive information with the aliased one or more characters.

  • Patent number: 9594817
Abstract: The technique relates to a system and method for selecting dynamic workflow to process file data. This technique facilitates to process file data and business rules simultaneously and thus saves a lot of time. The technique involves receiving a request from File Pattern Recognition Engine (FPRE) to select rules for processing file data by Data Rule Engine (DRE) and to select business rules to be applied on the data by the Business Metrics Engine (BME). After that, DRE and BME select the possible set of rules and send the acknowledgement to FPRE. Thereafter, FPRE sends the signal to proceed to DRE and BME, and after receiving the signal DRE and BME apply at least one of the possible set of rules selected earlier.

  • Publication number: 20170060910
Abstract: A method generating a platform-agnostic abstract syntax tree (AST) comprises receiving data in a predefined format, through an input unit; subsequently parsing the data to extract model information corresponding to the predefined format of the data; and transforming, by a processing server, the model information to an abstract syntax tree (AST) structure. The above steps aid in generating, by the processing server, a platform-agnostic AST by combining predefined metadata and the abstract syntax tree (AST) structure.

  • Patent number: 9582609
Abstract: The invention provides a method, a system, and a computer program product checking for human interaction dynamically to enable access to a resource in a computing environment. The method comprises collecting a plurality of objects. For each object, a plurality of properties is defined. A set of objects is selected from the plurality of collected objects. Thereafter, queries are generated based on the properties of the selected objects. Queries which have a non-unique or ambiguous response are removed. One of the remaining queries is randomly selected. The answer to the query, based on properties of the selected objects, is stored. The selected set of objects and the selected query are presented to the user who is trying to gain access to the resource. The user is enabled access to the resource if the response received from the user is validated against the stored answer of the selected query.

  • Patent number: 9571345
Abstract: A system and method for generating an optimized operating schedule for a plurality of heterogeneous wireless network appliances managed by a gateway device in a closed area network is disclosed. An amount of energy consumed by each network appliance as well as preassigned operational priority values assigned to each network appliance per time slot over the designated time period is considered. A plurality of proposed operation schedules are iteratively generated, wherein each proposed operation schedule selectively assigns the network appliances to operate at various time slots based on their assigned operational priority values. An optimized schedule is selected which has a determined lowest aggregated total utility cost and a greatest aggregated operations value for the network appliances in the subset. The selected optimized schedule is then implemented by the gateway device to manage operation of the network appliances in the closed area network.

  • Patent number: 9491220
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for adapting mobile multimedia content delivery service to enhance the quality of experience of one or more users. This invention involves identifying all the contexts from different domains associated with the mobile multimedia content delivery service that can impact on the quality of experience of the end user. The invention maps the contexts with the quality of experience impactors. Based on this information an abstract adaptation model is created to define basic rules of adaptation. This model also defines the threshold for adaptation and also the different adaptation actions corresponding to different contexts. This model can be transformed into an implementable adaptation model taking real time constraints into consideration. The available contexts in real time are mapped with the contexts present in the abstract model and then decision making module decides when to adapt and how to adapt the multimedia content.
