Patents Assigned to Infracor GmbH
  • Patent number: 9743670
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparing chlorine dioxide (ClO2) from hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium chlorite (NaClO2) in the presence of water (H2O). The invention has for its object to further develop the method such that it is more economical to install and operate. The object is achieved when the hydrochloric acid is used in aqueous solution at a concentration of 27 to 33 wt %, the sodium chlorite is used in aqueous solution at a concentration of 22 to 27 wt % and the molar ratio of hydrochloric acid used to sodium chlorite used is between 2.14 and 4.2.

  • Patent number: 9206063
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for feeding chlorine dioxide to water, comprising a first feed pipe (5a) for feeding in a first reaction component, comprising a second feed pipe (5b) for feeding in a second reaction component, comprising a mixing tube (2) for mixing and reacting the two reaction components to chlorine dioxide, at one end of which the two feed pipes (5a, 5b) join and at the other end of which is arranged a suction chamber (4) into which feed water to be enriched with chlorine dioxide can be sprayed by means of a nozzle (12), and comprising an exit water pipe (13) leading downstream from the suction chamber (4). This object is further to develop such an apparatus so that it is simple and has a robust design and permits different chlorine dioxide syntheses based on two reaction components to be carried out without danger.

  • Patent number: 8663481
Abstract: A method of treating water with chlorine dioxide (ClO2), by: surrounding a reaction chamber, in which the ClO2 is generated, with water, wherein the water surrounding the reaction chamber is simultaneously the water to be treated; and passing a reaction solution comprising the ClO2 formed in the reaction chamber out of the reaction chamber through an outlet directly into the water, thus treating the water.

  • Patent number: 8486276
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of treating water and an aqueous system, situated in a pipe, with chlorine dioxide (ClO2), the method including generating ClO2 in a reaction space such that the generated ClO2 is completely surrounded by a system to be treated, and delivering the ClO2 generated in the reaction space to the system to be treated which is situated in the pipe, wherein the system surrounding the reaction space is the system to be treated, the reaction space is a component of a mobile device and the mobile device can be introduced into the pipe, in which the system to be treated is situated, and removed again independently of the pressure state of the pipe containing the system to be treated, and the reaction space is situated in the pipe containing the system to be treated.
