Abstract: A synchronous motor with permanent magnets includes a rotor (110) provided with permanent magnets, and a winding (120) formed by overlapping coils located inside a slotless stator (100). The winding coils (120) are regularly distributed all around the 360° of the inside surface of the stator (100) and the ends of the coils are designed such that the winding has the same thickness throughout and the ends of the winding are at least partially inside the slotless stator (100).

Abstract: Provided is system and method for terminating stator windings to provide a fast, reliable, and convenient connection system. A U-shaped intermediary connection piece comprising individual pieces with cable exits is provided. Stator windings are attached to the individual pieces and the stator and connection piece are encapsulated with resin. The individual pieces are eliminated, thereby electrically isolating the cable exits.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cylindrical winding for slotless electrical machine according to the following steps: a) a winding head moving according to three axes X, Y, Z, winds continuously a wire following to a winding program around two set of needles and on the external surface of a first cylindrical tube said needles being located on the conical shaped end surfaces of two identical cylindrical bodies, partially located inside said cylindrical tube, axially juxtaposed and axially and rotatable movable, b) after the achievement of the winding operation of all the electrical machine phases all around the 360° peripheral surface of said first cylindrical tube a second cylindrical tube is put around the achieved winding; c) said two sets of needles are taken away and the two cylindrical bodies are moved away.
