Abstract: An expandable bag includes a body having a lower portion defining a closed bottom and a generally upstanding lower sidewall having an upper rim defining an upper opening and an upper portion defining an upper sidewall having a lower edge coupled adjacent to the upper edge of the lower portion and having an upper rim defining a top opening. The upper portion is movable between a folded position, in which the upper sidewall is folded within the lower sidewall such that the upper rim of the upper portion and the top opening thereof is disposed generally adjacent to the upper edge of the lower portion to define an interior compartment of a certain size, and an extended position, in which the upper portion is unfolded and extended upwardly, thereby extending the height of the body and, in turn, the bag creating an interior compartment of greater size.
Abstract: A combination garment bag and luggage bag includes a relatively rigid outer luggage bag and a relatively flexible inner garment bag. According to one aspect of the invention, the garment bag is secured to the interior of the luggage bag with the aid of a releasable coupling mechanism. According to another aspect of the invention, the interior of the garment bag is provided with a spring expandable hanger bar. The hanger bar expands when the garment bag is removed from the luggage bag. This allows easier access to the contents of the garment bag.
Abstract: A combination flat sheet, fitted sheet and bed skirt includes a fitted sheet having a top and four sides, each side having a lower edge, the four lower edges being provided with an elastic band, the fitted sheet dimensioned to fit over a mattress supported by a box spring. The bed skirt is attached only to the left, right and foot peripheral edge of the top of the fitted sheet and extends downward in sufficient length to cover the left, right and foot sides of the fitted sheet and the left, right and foot sides of the box spring. The flat sheet is attached only to the foot edge of the top of the fitted sheet and is dimensioned such that its left, right and foot flaps extend downward in sufficient length approximately to or just beyond the box spring. The length of the flat sheet in the head direction is of sufficient length such that the sheet can be folded over itself at the head of the bed.
Abstract: A portable foot operated exercise device includes a somewhat elastic fabric base having spaced apart foot sleeves on an upper surface thereof and removable sliding pads on the lower surface thereof. According to the presently preferred embodiment, the base is made of NEOPRENE™, and two pairs of sliding pads are provided. One pair is made of hard plastic and the other pair is made of fleece or a fleece-like material. The pads are preferably provided with a VELCRO® backing and the base is preferably provided with mating VELCRO® on the lower surface beneath the foot sleeves.
Abstract: A battery operated flexible massage device includes a ball-and-socket modular plastic spine and an electric vibrator unit, covered by a flexible foam tube. The tube containing the spine and the vibrator unit is covered with a padded fabric cylindrical shell. The ends of the shell are provided with zippers which allow access to battery compartments. According to the presently preferred embodiment, the vibrator unit is centrally located adjacent to the flexible plastic spine. Two battery compartments are provided, one at each end of the tube, each for containing two AA batteries. A control switch is mounted adjacent to one of the battery compartments.
Abstract: A circular mirror has a frame with peripheral groove and a peripherally mounted gooseneck which is dimensioned to be wrapped around the periphery of the frame and received in the groove. According to the invention, the gooseneck is long enough so that it can be used to support the mirror in a variety of ways. For example, the gooseneck can be extended its full length with its end bent into a hook and then hung from a door. The gooseneck can also be bent into a semi-circle or similar configuration to be used as a table top stand.
