The equipment includes at least one driven conveyor with a radius of curvature appropriate to the conveying path and provided with a plurality of mutually spaced flights for engaging and supporting one side of a conveyed object, and guide elements are provided for engaging and supporting the object at the side opposite the mentioned side.
