    Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to controlling migration of a source endpoint in a source telephony system to a destination endpoint in a destination telephony system. The source endpoint is deactivated and the destination endpoint is activated as part of the migration. The migration of endpoints between the source telephony system and the destination telephony system can be performed in an individualized manner. Source information that specifies a state of the source endpoint is retrieved from the source telephony system and destination information that specifies a state of the destination endpoint is retrieved from the destination telephony system. Moreover, a validation is performed concerning whether the source endpoint is migratable to the destination endpoint based on the source information and the destination information.

Each communication/detection device is adapted to communicate information between the mobile device and the communication/detection device when the mobile device is within the range thereof. The system includes at least one multiplexer in communication with at least one of the communication/detection devices and at least one server including content stored thereon to provide at least one service to the client program on mobile device. The server is in communication with the multiplexer. The service to be provided to the mobile device depends on which one of the plurality of communication/detection devices is in communication with the mobile device.

    Abstract: A wireless resource monitoring system and method utilizes a network of deployed radio elements including at least one master radio, a plurality of beacons, and at least one tag. The beacons are placed at known positions. The master radio, the beacons and the tag are in wireless communication with each other. The tag is attached to the resource that is being monitored. A beacon signal is transmitted by the beacons, which includes the identity of the transmitting beacons. The tag receives the beacon signals and measures the signal strength of the beacon signals. The tag then transmits a tag signal, which includes the identity of the transmitting tag, the measured signal strengths of the beacon signals and the identity of the corresponding beacons. The location of the tag is then determined from the tag signal.

    Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) system and method for determining the location of a wireless node in a wireless mesh sensor network is disclosed. The wireless node can be a wireless terminal, a wireless transceiver, or a wireless transmitter. The wireless network includes a plurality of wireless nodes linked to a digital computer, such as, for example, a server or a location processor, via a communications link. The method comprises deploying a plurality of identifier wireless nodes each at a predetermined location. Node-to-node data for the wireless nodes are generated, the node-to-done data providing information regarding a wireless node's communication with other wireless nodes. The node-to-node data is transmitted to the digital computer where the node-to-node data is processed to generate a map identifying the locations of the wireless nodes.

    Abstract: Provided is an antenna. In one example, the antenna includes a base having a substantially planar upper surface with an axis perpendicular to the upper surface. The base forms a ground plane for the antenna. The antenna also includes at least three conductive planar elements that are substantially triangular and are electrically coupled to the base via a feed point. Each element has a vertical edge oriented parallel to the base's axis and a horizontal edge oriented parallel to the upper surface. An angle formed by the intersection of the vertical and horizontal edges of each element is located on the base's axis and is distal from the feed point. The elements are positioned equidistantly from the base and equiangularly from one another. The vertical edges of the elements are coupled along the base's axis to form a contiguous conductive surface that is a driven element of the antenna.
