Patents Assigned to INNOLITH ASSETS AG
  • Patent number: 11322798
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a rechargeable battery cell having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolyte, which comprises a conducting salt, and a separator, which is arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode and the positive electrode are each an insertion electrode. The electrolyte is based on SO2. The separator comprises a separator layer which is an organic polymer separator layer. The thickness of the organic polymer separator layer, relative to the loading of the positive insertion electrode with active material per unit area, is less than 0.25 mm3/mg.

  • Patent number: 10892487
Abstract: The present invention relates to a rechargeable electrochemical battery cell having a housing, a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte, the electrolyte containing sulfur dioxide and a conductive salt of the active metal of the cell. The total quantity of oxygen-containing compounds contained in the cell that are able to react with the sulfur dioxide, reducing the sulfur dioxide, is not more than 10 mMol per Ah theoretical capacitance of the cell.

  • Patent number: 10629860
Abstract: A battery module comprises a battery module housing with parts made of plastic and a plurality of prismatic battery cells that have a cell housing with four side walls. Two parallel side walls are larger than the two other side walls. The electrolyte of the battery cells is preferably SO2-based. The battery module housing (2) has a cooling system with a channel structure (32) and a fluid coolant. The channel structure (32) has a fluid connection with a coolant inlet (11) and a coolant outlet (12) of the battery module housing (2). An intermediate wall (13) made of plastic is located between two adjacent battery cells (5) essentially parallel to the larger side walls (7) of the battery cell (5). One channel (31) of the channel structure (32) runs at least partially in the intermediate wall (13) and is formed by means of a recess (33) in the intermediate wall (13) that is open at least to one adjacent side wall (7) of the battery cell (5).
