Abstract: A method of wireless security communication using a physical layer shared security key in an ambient internet-of-things (AIoT) network and related devices are proposed. In the method, a first node of the AIoT network performs generating a physical layer shared security key based on wireless channel reciprocity of communication between the first node and a second node of the AIoT network and additional information that is not derived from the wireless channel reciprocity; and exchanging a message using the physical layer shared security key with the second node. In this application, the shared security key generation can be achieved much faster, as compared to existing devices.

Abstract: A wireless communication method 100 are related devices are proposed. In the method, a first user equipment (UE) performs a first security procedure to establish a first secure communication with a UE-to-UE relay node for communication with a second UE, sends a direct communication request to the second UE via the UE-to-UE relay node, performs direct security operation to establish a second secure communication between the first UE and the second UE, and disables the first secure communication with the UE-to-UE relay node during or after the second secure communication with the second UE is established. Since only one security policy is applied, this enables the UEs and the UE-to-UE relay node to more efficiently manage the use of their resources.

  • Patent number: 12586283
Abstract: A computer system obtains an image of a scene captured by a camera and identifies a two-dimensional (2D) pose of the person in the image. The 2D pose includes a plurality of 2D joint positions in the image. The 2D pose is converted to a three-dimensional (3D) pose of the person including a plurality of 3D joint positions. The computer system determines a rotation angle of each joint relative to a T-pose of the person based on the plurality of 3D joint positions. The rotation angle of each joint is applied to a skeleton template of the avatar. The computer system renders the skeleton template of the avatar having the rotation angle for each joint.

  • Patent number: 12536819
Abstract: A computer system obtains the image including one or more text areas, and generates a sequence of feature maps from the image based on a downsampling rate. Each feature map has a first dimension and a second dimension, and the feature maps include a first feature map and a second feature map. Each of the first and second dimensions of the first feature map has a respective size that is reduced to that of a respective dimension of the second feature map by the downsampling rate. The second feature map is upsampled by an upsampling rate using a local context-aware upsampling network. The upsampled second feature map is aggregated with the first feature map to generate an aggregated first feature map. The one or more text areas are identified in the image based on the aggregated first feature map.

  • Patent number: 12535887
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing novel finger swipe-based smart watch user interface (“UI”) control or novel micro finger gesture-based UI control for wrist-wearable device. In various embodiments, a computing system may analyze biosensor data to identify micro-gestures of a user's finger, the biosensor data being received from biosensor(s) disposed on a wrist-wearable device when it is being worn by the user. In response to identifying a first micro-gesture of the user's finger in the biosensor data, the computing system may determine whether the first micro-gesture corresponds to one of a finger-swipe command or a finger-drag command for controlling a UI of the wrist-wearable device. If so, the computing system may cause the UI of the wrist-wearable device to perform one or more first functions in response to the one of the finger-swipe command or the finger-drag command.

  • Patent number: 12521628
Abstract: Provided are a method, a system and an electronic device for implementing flexible graphics enhancement and execution. For example, a flexible graphics enhancement and execution component can be an integrated element of a graphics application programming interface (API) that allows a visual effect of style to be added to the 3D graphics rendered from a mobile game. The techniques can include intercepting an initial function call, where the initial function call is associated with a graphics API rendering an image for an application. Then, a custom function can be automatically generated, based on the intercepted initial function call. A pointer associated with the generated custom function can be returned to the application, where the custom function modifies an output from the graphics API to add a visual effect to a three-dimensional (3D) rendered image of the application. The graphics API can be an Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) API.

  • Patent number: 12452319
Abstract: The voice call device includes a processor, and a memory having instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations as follows. After a voice call is initiated via a user equipment (UE) device over 5G NR, a status of an IMS registration (e.g., failed, in progress, etc.) for the UE is identified. For example, in response to determining that the status of IMS registration for the UE is in-progress, the voice call can be held, and a wait timer initiated. If the IMS registration completes prior to the wait timer expiring, the voice call is conducted over 5G NR or 4G Long-term Evolution (LTE).

  • Patent number: 12423977
Abstract: An electronic device obtains video content and a textual query associated with a video moment in the video content. The video content is divided video segments, and the textual query includes one or more words. Visual features are extracted for each video segment, and textual features are extracted for each word. The visual features and the textual features are combined to generate a similarity matrix in which each element represents a similarity level between a respective video segment and a respective word. Segment-attended sentence features are generated for the textual query based on the textual features and the similarity matrix. The segment-attended sentence features are combined with the visual features of the video segments to determine a plurality of alignment scores, which is used to retrieve a subset of the video content associated with the textual query to be retrieved from the video segments.
